Just a general question, is it advisable able to book 2 lessons? From what i experience so far, normally 1 lesson not enough time to cover. Will the instructor be angry if they found out you book 2 lessons?

You mean sessions? Depends on individual. For me, I normally book 2 sessions, like monday, then Wednesday so if I pass on Monday, I will cancel the wed session. Because I'm sure I have to go at least 2x to clear the lesson.. :(

Instructor won't get angry de la... not their $ also.. anyway you can book 1 session at a time if you still worried, so that your receipt will show only 1 booking.

I managed to pass my prac 2 yesterday! Prac 3 next. Any tips that can help me?

-PRAC 3-

Slope

Stopping - signal which lane your bike laning, first bike left second bike right, gear 1 before stop and use both brake.

Moving off - Signal away from kerb, Check away from kerb! let go front brake first, throttle a bit (3RPM) and *half clutch and let go rear brake at the same time! (or not will stall)

Down slope - if your signal is right, change to left. Throttle off, *let go clutch SLOWLY and FULLY, near stopline, clutch in and brake! *DO NOT INCH OUT! (there is no wall), check right, back and left to move off.

FIG.8

Moving in - left signal on. Check back and then left to move. Throttle more (more speed to gear up.) and when yellow line, off signal. After line got a little straight road, change gear 2 let go clutch slowly

Bend - throttle control!! DO NOT USE FRONT BRAKE!! instructor say use rear brake to control speed but i didn't use at all if you practise

*knee grab tank, body bend forward and relax your arms, look far at where you want to go(instructor always tell you that), *lean body left or right and try use your face to kiss the mirror.

Exit - apply rear brake, clutch in down gear, on signal left all before exit, keep more to right before exiting left, hold both brakes and stop before white line.

Crank C.

Moving in - check back and left then move in, once in change gear, release clutch slowly, *if you throw you fall cause near bend already.

Bend - like the FIG.8 bend but have to lean faster. Tip: do not look down on the road, many people did and they went where they looking at(kerbs and trees) hahas

Exit - slow down and see any vehicle, if no, check left and go left lane first!! (if you cut yellow box and go right lane = abrupt lane change), yellow box only of a lot vehicles and the lane is blocked then you can use box.

Left lane(FIG.8 entrance lane)

if no one. off signal you go striaght, or not signal right check blindspot and lane change right. signal left check blindspot and lane change left.

Traffic light

Keep more to left in the lane. If first bike, check right and back and move off, check left before turning(for pedestrian)

Complete

Wow. That's a detailed post. Respect! When you say check back and left, I check left blindspot is it?

Posted

Not really. You are to look at the left bend/ or I say where the traffic light is cause on the road, even if green light, the pedestrian crossing is green too. So the left check is for checking if anyone crossing. Cdc that turn no pedestrian but still need as long as left turn

Bring your camera phone and snapshot from the board loh...

Or you ask the instructors for the A4 size circuit map which normally they will give to those learner who are preparing for lesson 5.
