there are a few shops selling GTS along the road leading from little india to Mah.

kembagan area near ASP also got 1 shop selling GTS, UBI industrial area if i remember correctly got abt 2 shops selling GTS.

Check them out for the pricing :cheer:

Do ensure that the price quoted is OTR with GST included. Then compare and see which shop is better :goodluck:

It's not up to us to comment about it, even for other shops as well. Saying the wrong thing about shops in here, whether is good or bad might invite unnecessary troubles.

I don't blame people who doesn't show courtesy, they just didn't get taught on how to do so.

I changed it at around 15,000km, however it doesn't affect my daily riding at all before the change. If you don't wanna spend the $$$ now and you're currently satisfied with the current performance, advise is to stick to it till it hits the mileage for the replacement (usually is to gauge its lifespan)

What do u mean by changed color? Rusty or what? 6000km need to check what ah? Refer to the maintenance sheet on my 1st post in this thread would be the best way to find out. :cheeky:

normally clutch bell no need to change unless its too thin, cannot grip anymore, out of shape etc... so its not a regular wear and tear maintenance part.

My mistake, thanks for the correction :cheeky:

Reason for me to change an entire set (clutch and clutch bell) is because the slipping is too much, so instead of changing only the clutch itself, I might as well change bell together with it. Anyway, I'm also trying to learn here, hope to see more experienced scooterists providing valuable feedbacks in the SYM thread instead of me alone answering most of the time

I'm not a mechanic or helpdesk, I'm also learning about this scoot as well :cheeky:

Bros, I've checked it out, Mah, Dexing and a shop in Alexandra behind OG (can't remember e shop name) all quote higher then HL Cycle. I also call up CSTK but in e end found out they no more selling SYM, and keep intro X8 to me instead! :sian:

Ops if I said anything wrong ab bike shops, dun blame me ya, cos I was a rider before n I encountered a lot of bad experience, so I hope will not kena another 1 again.:cheeky:

Bro Bryantlin, u think the price HL Cycle offers worth it? $6600 OTR with Insurance. Hope all bros here can give comment or can intro a better n cheaper shop too.

bro, seems that you have checked many shops and this particular shop is offering the best price amongst them. So i would say if the price quoted is inclusive of every thing, ie. ERP unit, insurance, Road tax, license plate fee (dunno got such thing or not  ), basically OTR with not a single cent more i would say u can go ahead and buy from the shop, this recommendation is solely base on the price.

Btw, wat freebies they giving you? Rear box? Helmets? Bike Cover?

One more thing is to check how is the servicing quality there, the worst thing that can happen is to buy a bike from a shop only to find that their service cmi after that

I've never purchased from that shop b4 so cant comment on them, maybe can post another thread and ask the bros who have experience dealing with them b4

hope this helps

p.s. i'm a newbie when it comes to bike, in fact my GTS is my first ride

They only give the most a big rear box as they said the price is the best they can offer. Yup I'll be going down to take a look, I'll buy it if the price is right. Thanks Bro Bryantlin!

I was at Mah last week with disar for his S.Wing collection. Saw some new GTS200 over there, noticed some differences in terms of appearance:

- There's signal light mirror this time (only saw one silver one) :lovestruck:

- There's a SYM emblem on the windscreen and the center of handlebar

:cheeky:
