Hi guys just wanna share this with you guys i had a bad experience with a bike shop SOUTHERN MOTOR.

 

Just now I had my bike repossessed due to didnt upkeep the instalments due to work commitments. Please be informed that I am on a tight schedule of sailing recently. I admit it is my fault for not paying however, I called earlier in the morning and prepared to make the payment and asking the price i needed to pay. However, I was shocked and angered by the conversation i had with the staff. Instead of telling me how much i needed to pay, she accused me of wanting to ride the bike without paying and hiding the bike. Its funny I parked my bike at the carpark always. She scolded me as though i owe her family money, where is the customer service? The best part is on the same day i went down with the money and she even requested for one more guarantor. What a policy? my bike costs 2k plus just a 125z and altogether i had 3 guarantor for this bike. Even the manager didnt apologise for the way his staff talked to me.

 

Just wanna share, this will be my first and last time I am going to go to this shop. Fyi, i am 25 yrs old and this bike is actually my 6th bike. I understand dat dis is partly my fault but in the first place I did make the arrangement to pay. I hate ppl whom likes to accused and speak without thinking. I hope that Southern motors will brush up on their customer service coz at the end of the day we are still their customers.

 

and lastly I wont ever recommend anyone to this bike shop anymore as their customer service really sucks!

If that is really the case, then their customer service is really lacking. No matter how, even if you are not willing to pay, that shouldn't be the way to handle it.

 

Maybe that is the difference from a professional company. In any case, they are not wrong to repossess the bike but definitely are not professional enough.

I sympathize with you. Maybe the shop just spoke to you this way becoz they had too many experiences with ppl who dont pay. Just as there are shops who have bad service, there are as many ppl who make late payments or don't pay at all. What will happen to your bike now?

Upon that conversation i immediately made the trip down n make the payment and bring out the bike.. Its just absurd they asked me for another guarantor! Yes i do admit its my fault, however its just not rite to treat ppl tat way... At the bike shop even the manager doesnt want to speak to me... I talked to tat lady n gave her a piece of my mind dat i tink she will remember me!! Anyway this shop is on my blacklist, how ppl tat didnt pay, dat doesnt concern them... Y make life so difficult??
