Reliable mechanic for sym bike

I'm riding a sym excel II. Anyone who rides sym bike has any recommendation for this kind of bike? Is it true some mechanics are more pro at fixing certain bike? Any experience sym bike mechanic? My current mechanic can't find the size 80 tyre for my front wheels. He say can try either size 70 or 90? Is that possible?
