Unless this new jordans is some kind of secondary holiday drift caused by all those folks putting out their Christmas decorations too early, here’s the story of how a holiday known for its red and green combo came to be commemorated by an orange-accented pair of Jordan Melo M8s. It started back in the mid-’00s when the New York Knicks shifted their jerseys from blue to green in honor of St. Patrick’s Day, but the look was a natural carryover when New York returned to relevance and a spot on last year’s Christmas Day showcase.
