Hi guys,

as you know.. drum brakes cannot see whether if the pads are wearing out so have to feel. But I do know can adjust the brake pedal such that I can engage brakes earlier (as the pads wear out). Something call the cable adjustor or something?

Basically, what I am asking is how to adjust that cable adjustor.. cos right now.. I realise I need to de-press my brake pedal more before I actually feel the brakes eating .

Is it the solitary nut that is at the rear wheel, and i just push the the brake shaft forward and then turn in the nut? is there a limit or indicator to see how much? I don see it...

I understand this is hard to explain... so just thought I try my luck here.

I'm riding a Shadow.

thanks people
