Pulsar 200NS(Naked Sport) is coming...

I check it out from the dealer for Bajaj Pulsar today and they told me that 200NS is coming around July.But already on sale in India.No extra bucks for KTM DUKE 200 so can consider Pulsar.Same company which produce DUKE 200 in India.Pulsar got Triple Plugs technology but KTM use only single plug.Both share same 6-speed gear-box but no USD fork for Pulsar.Price is a lot different.So wait and see.....

Notice that the engine diemension and the placement is exactly the same as the Duke. Of course minus the fram design, crank covers and etc.

 

Triple spark does not emans there's 3 spark plug. But rather spark 3 time when reaching TDC.

 

Meaning, normally at point of ignition. Most bike spark once to ignite the mixture.

 

triple spark tech is spark 3 times to ignite instead of one.

 

Some ferrari is also using the same tech.

The Pulsar engine has a pent roof combustion chamber which allows Bajaj to plug in three spark plugs, four valves and a single camshaft into the engine.

paiseh, just read that also. Pulsar is using 3 spark plug, 3 coil and 1 controller for spark.

 

Ferarri is 1 sparkplug, 1 heavy duty coil and higher cycle type and 1 conplex controller.

 

Both still triple sparks at TDC.

 

The fun part. Some tech perspectives, 3 triple sparking, will improve mileage and HP. But only at lower rpm and mid RPM range.

 

Nevertheless, It will be intersting to see how they introduce new tech.

Yup. Ferrari is now 1 spark 1 cyclinder.

 

Anyway, These are the companies (F1 related) that bring us the technology for engine.

 

Variable valve timing 1983 (ferrari) But is honda that brings to commercial cars.

 

Twin spark cannot remeber who but F1 uses first.

 

Variable intake and exhaust. Renault and ferrari.

 

Electronic suspension control ferrari.

 

NOw ferrari uses triple sparking but 1 spark plug.

Price i think is near to FZ16,but i don't like the handle bar and front fork.But i got many advice from bikers that if add another 3.5K is better to get a DUKE!Don't know lah,confused!!!!

You see,USD forks are expensive more than 1.5K,digital tachometer around 700,handle bars 250,fuel injection more than 1.5K,tyres,steel hoses....That's more than 3.5K bro! Since this bike is made in INDIA,so it's cheaper than their bigger brothers.If made in AUSTRIA,at least 18K:P

Today I just checked out the bike. OTR price w/o insurance is about the same as the FZ16ST as told by the salesman. So I estimate the new pulsar should be around $7,600/- before insurance. Considering getting one.. =)
