Selling bike to shop, value?

I'm considering changing bike at the moment.. can i do a price check if i sell TA200 to shop, how much would it fetch?

COE ending 2014. and my insurance ending at 28/5/12.

 

Should I still renew insurance and use it until I picked my new bike?

Renew insurance is not really an issue since when u dun wan e bike anymore, e remainder value will e pro rated and refund. Can check with ur insurer on this.

 

As for bike price, would be better if u just brin ur bike to a shop and ask. Different shop different price. And some will give more value if u buy bike from them, etc. But i strongly believe if u can sell owner to owner, u will be able to get more.

im just being cautious because i dont dare to just go into a shop i never been to, to sell bike..

that's why come here check agar agar the price first.

 

is going shop to shop to ask for quotation a common practice?

No prob. Cautious is good. Kia si even better. i think as rider should always be kia si then will be safer. Rather than no scare and take many risk.

 

Getting quote from shop, not sure whether is considered common but since it is a business transaction, i dun see any harm. If u buy/sell from them, they will earn, so nothing wrong with getting some info right? Just my opinion.

It really depends on you. I loved my ta200 for the economy and power for a 2b.

You should check with the shop but with less than 2 years, Should be about 1200 i guess.

But now i changing for the 'look' factor

 

I dont think i can sell my bike easily directly to owner because if you take a look at Legality and Regulation forum, ive been through an accident. Only sustained scratches to the oil tank and box portion. But im sure owners will be skeptical

Shop will take yr coe value only. The external accessory they wont Appricate.

 

Since yr coe till 2014, I believe they will take in between 300 to 500 only.

If got accident think e shop will slash even more e price. As for owner, c how ba. Some buyers dun really care outlook. But agreed some may be worried about e condition.

Now im looking at 300-500.. Should be acceptable if quoted and the reason is logical..dont wanna get chop carrot
