i brought 4 spark plug nt long ago from shop. as they told me it for vfr nc30. wanna ask the pro here izzit possible to fix onto rvf nc35?? it is NGK plug code is IMR9B-9H. currently riding RVF. thx alot

Hi, the service manual for the VFR400 states NGK ER9EH as the spark plug for use. I couldn't find a service manual for the RVF400, but sites selling NGK spark plugs also list this model for use with the RVF. Your spark plug appears to be a high performance iridium plug.

If you want to try using the plug. Take out your present one and look very carefully and see if the length of the plugs from the top to the end of the bolt are the SAME. You don't want to have the piston hitting a longer spark plug.

 

Next thread it carefully by HAND to see if it goes in smoothly without force. You don't want to cross thread the spark plug hole's thread. If it still goes well, start your engine and hope for the best. Or better yet, ride to your workshop with the spark plugs and ask the mechanic. :)
