I was wondering how much is motorcycle shop profit margin, so we can have a better idea on the basic cost of the motorcycle.

Example for car, they have total basic cost exclude COE (OMV+custom duty +GST + ARF + registration fee) and those premium are mark up by the car dealer.

Anyone knew this, please post to share.

Seem like no one answering the thread.

I will just answer my own thread,using my own findings.

Basically Example of a bike without insurance and COE are $5k in shop.

After using calculation based on bike price in other country - VAT, and inclusive all freight charges, Taxes, transportation, others . the bike gross cost will be about $3.7k.

Depends on the shop and bike... S4 spec3 my friend bought for $15k... Coe till 2018... Compare with my cbr400rr bought at 3.5k Coe till April 2013... Lol... Renew it at 2k? Still cheaper... Different shops got different margins... :)

Lol.... Most probably 200%... Pulsar selling at 3.5k sgd in India... Shipping fee about 500-1k? Coe about 2k? They selling at 12k? Lol... Cubs sellin at 1k in Thailand. No need to ship, send inside cargo truck about 500/bike... Shop selling 7-8k? Lol...
