hi all, my fren too kan chiong and went to sign on the agreement with bikeshop......but he haven even gotten his license and no guarantor yet......however he has sign the paper and has his ic photocopy already......so can he back out this thing??? and if he's under 21, is he liable or vice versa??

 

he needs help.....thx!!

tell them u wanna back out.. if they object.. report to CASE..

 

better inform the bikeshop ppl earlier.. fair trade act got some cool down period for buyer or seller to consider their agreement.. but dunno it applies to ur fren's case anot..

 

i dun think they can to much...

Hmm .. I think should be no problem (however dun say I say hor). Cos my cousin also did something similar. She wanted to trade in her RXZ for CBR 400. All signed liao and I even became her guarantor. But next day, she say she wants to back out of the deal. So I suggested she called up the motodiam to try lah. And she managed to cancel the deal.

 

However I must stress that this may not be the case for everyshop.

Hi all

 

Fair Trading Act has cooling off period ONLY for door to door sales OR Timeshare, and even that is only for 3 days. In ur case, better chk the agreement signed.
