Can PR get loan to purchase bike?

I am a PR, bought my X1 from De Xing motor around March (cash). Will be taking my 2A license test in December and plan to get a new CB400 Revo.

But my question is, can PR get loan from bike shop? last time i asked De Xing, they say if PR want to take bike loan, it is a must that the PR owned a HDB in SG.

If I don't, I would need to get a guarantor (Singaporean / PR with HDB). Anyone here can clarify if this requirement is only specific to this shop or other shop practice the same?
