NEED OPINIONS FROM RIDERS OUTSIDE THERE ! JUST PASSED MY 2B :0 (r15 fz16)

hey guys i've just passed my 2b last week..and im into 2 of this bike.. r15 version 1 and fz16 naked...

 

need opinions guys..true opinions...

 

im living in malaysia and i'll be facing jams everyday in and out obviously..and i'll be pillioning my dad everyday ..

 

so i need your pro opinions..yea i know both of the bikes are 4 strokes..so i guess the fc will be good...

 

im just curious about the handling of each bike..street and sports..

 

and also looking at the bikes.. r15 has smaller tyres comapre to fz...

 

and r15 is faster than fz16 am i right?

 

does malaysia workshop reconize this bike ? as for servicing..engine oil spark plug etc etc...

 

p.s not into r15 v2 or fz16 st caz on budjet

 

 

wanna hear the pro's and con's of each bike r15 and fz16

I just got back from a week driving around in north Malaysia, disappointed not to see a single FZ16, saw lots of small bikes eg Honda waves and often with pillions so you'll be more than sorted with FZ16. I too am a 2B newbie and I love riding my FZ16 though I don't pillion. Ride handling is great but if you're pillioning your ol' man around everyday then perhaps you should try the two bikes out with both of you on it to get a feel for it. I cannot comment on the R15 but No point getting a bike with top speed if it's going to be uncomfortable when you're both on it and you're not going to get the opportunity to ride it often at the bike's speed limits.

If your concern is parts/serving availability in M'sia then you might wanna consider the fz150i which if I'm not wrong is said to be the naked version of the r15. Think it's the same engine as well and it comes with fuel injection so FC is great. My 2 cents.

 

Can't really recommend which is better between r15 and fz16, really depends on your preference. Sports or naked.

haiya...ex5 honda la...put box..settle..less fuel comsumption..easy to maintain...cheap n fast...
