Hi all. I recently got my license and have plans to get a bike. But kinda struggling to find one. A few reasonable options. But I’ve been hearing this debate between my friends. Buying secondhand from shop vs buying direct from owner. I know the cons for the latter is that if there are any problems I probably have to fork out the cash myself to get them serviced. But prior to that is there anywhere I can go to do a comprehensive check and how much would it cost. And would buying direct still be advisable??
