Thermostat

Hi guys, did anyone here removed thermostat before? wanna check what is the pros and cons of removing it. Thanks alot

The thermostat is a spring-loaded or alcohol-sealed bellow or similar valve that opens and closes based on the temperature of the coolant flowing through it.

Removing the thermostat could slow down warming up during cold start and overheating during engine normal operation on hot days.

Its not an issue if u wana remove thermostat, sg daily temp quite constant and doesnt req extended warm up like winter place. It wont caused u overheating the system and it should run cooler.

coolant will only follows out of the engine to the radiator when the temp reach certain degree if there is a thermostat.
