1. Confirm xciting 400, on average can clock 30km/l?

Good fuel economy depends on how you ride. The best I got out of the x400i was 25km/l.

2. I usually ride ard 100-140km/h on my current bike, is xciting able to handle the speed? how stable is the bike?

The scoot can handle the speed no problem. But any higher speed may not be stable. Frankly with the kind of speed you go don't think can get 30km/h you want.

3. How much are the maintenance? servicing range from, generic oil, filter change to major servicing that includes air filter, belt and etc. what mileage milestone am i looking at? 5000km per servicing?

Basically it's 1.5l engine oil. Price depends on what oil you use. Oil filter cost less than $18. Recommended change oil at 5k km range. I change my air filter once a year irregardless of mileage. Belt and rollers will cost less than $300 you need to confirm this as I've not change the belts and rollers yet.

4. Any common/frequent problem with the bike?

So far no major problems heard yet from the local and Malaysian riders.

5. How is the handling/nimbility on the road, such as weaving through cars, almost every morning i will be in a jam along loyang ave.

How well to handle the scoot depends on you riding skills. So far I've no problem lane splitting and very mobile in tight squeeze.

Hopes it answers your questions. Cheers...

is this due to poor braking system? (pls i hope not) :D

So far the original one works for me no problem...

Hi everyone, I am a new owner of an Xciting 400i. Need to ask you all some advice. The windshield is rather low and it can get cold on long night rides. What aftermarket windshields are available in Singapore?

Givi have tall windscreen for xciting 400 but not sure any shop bring into Singapore. You might want to order online or get from givi Malaysia. Imho, the givi one look a lot nicer than retrofit from Kymco 500 model.

Attached what I had found for the xciting 400.

For the x500 you can go down to motorsport to try out since they have 1 or 2 used unit there. If you like then order else you take a chance with the rest of the windscreens as there's no sample for you to feel.

I like to believe original windshield is the best but I have noticed stones and debris flying catapulted by rear tires vehicle in front specially heavy vehicles. Just like how stones hit car windshield and cause to crack the glass.

A good windshield could help provide more safety. The original windshield is too low.

What we need is a proper windshield with good aerodynamics.

Ramzi : yes I think the original windshield is too low too coz in Malaysia, there are a lot of cars without mud flaps and also we have a lot of sandy roads caused by construction debris which is not cleaned up and sometimes it feels that I am getting "sand blasted" if there isnt a good windshield to protect me. Btw, have you any luck getting a windshield in KL or should I just order online?

Monktianak, the reason i say can get in malaysia is givi agent is in malaysia. I believe if you will to quote the part number they should be able to bring in for you if they dont have it. Oh, btw, there is a original kymco high windscreen for 400. Guess singapore market is too small for anyone to market. Sorry if i give you the wrong impression. I type too fast.
