96' Intruder repair work

Clutch went out. The shop replaced the following:

Clutch friction disks 7pcs 280SGD

Clutch pump. 258SGD

Outer Clutch. 148SGD

 

OIL CHANGE AN FILTER. 112SHE

 

Are prices about right or did I get carrot

i changed my intruder clutch pump once. dont remember paying more than 100 for it. which shop did you go to?

air or oil filter?

Not the cheapest for sure but not too far off.

I went ebay and other parts shops and found on average the 7pc Clutch plate is only about 50SGD..but they charged me 40SGD for each piece which you can't even buy the plates individually....I am all for the shop making a profit on parts but 400% markup...

 

Needless to say, I will not be going back to that shop (CKA @ Jurong East) I even spent time talking with manager there and the mechanic and let them know that I live near by, had recently bought the bike and would be a customer for life as long as they treated me right, I had read a few good reviews from people here so I am disappointed and looking for a good shop still. Their loss...
