juz called my bikeshop and asked about my insurance.... $795 for 1st party coverage. and i asked how about 2nd party...they say i cant take 2nd party coz my bike is still new 1 yr old nia..... nbzz.... where got such things siah..... anybody can call me and advise me on this? thanx

If you 1, can try park at the pavement (or at small road near the grass patch) opposite the complex. cos the carpark at the hawker there always full as well

Since its hire purchase, i think muz go thru bikeshop. There afraid if there is a mishap, then nobody pay for it. But normally they only 1st yr then req 1st party. Subsequent year shd be your choice bah.

Or maybe if you want, then try apply for insurance yourself w/o gng thru bikeshop. Not very sure can anot. Maybe some other bros can answer? But that time i renew, the staff didnt even ask me if still on hire purchase. I juz show them my photostated log card (nw dun even have log card liao), & they juz process for me loh

I know my bike first year, with the bike shop, third party fire & theft (TPFT).

 

That time when my insurance was due for renewal, I tried extending it to coincide with my road tax renewal, the AXA agent said cannot. I have must original LOG card... so boh pian, must get the motor shop to do for me

 

I think some insurance companies need original LOG card, some don't need. Subsequently I went to NTUC to get it done. They just needed a copy of the LOG card, and i just let them know that its still under hire purchase, they also didn't ask/say anything

 

When you're on your own, i think its up to you what sorta coverage you want to get...

 

I'm trying to get cheaper quotes for my motor insurance leh...expiring also in November...

Actually, i'm not sure if i told NTUC that my bike still under financing...and anyways, they're handling my claim from the incident i had in March... Haven't settled yet, but I'm sure they'll pay.

 

So i think shouldn't be a problem

mine spec 3 also 3rd party with fire and theft, still under hire purchase.

 

actually all this depend on bike shop.

but new bike try to get 1st party. so that if anything touch wood happened. they bikeshop can still claim back some. also as new bike new owner may not be able to handle the power thus may get into accident at a higher rate.

great i juz got a quote from ntuc... comprehensive-$1347, TPFT - $606, 3rd party-$390..... all these are after 5% discount...... i was given another 5% discount coz i haf a life policy insurance wif them so looking at TPFT i will be paying $576 lo.... kaoz.... so friendly siah the CSO.... nbzz when i called my bikeshop say my insurance expire liao and u noe wad they say?? " come down pay money la!!" nin nah beiz manz.... money nia... knnccb!!

i haven been to vivocity just wanna ask the shopping complex is more bigger than causeway point s c

 

 

as for my working pl , dunno they will do some bikers parking lot anot at basement , i heard is pretty big .

den happily went back home which is 4 storeys above the 7-11 shop..

 

put my stuffs and come down, saw this stupid piece of paper..

Now they are super fast.About 15mins can scan the whole carpark.
