Pump prices down by 3 to 5 cents a litre

SINGAPORE : The next round of pump price cuts has begun.

 

Shell led the way on Wednesday at 7pm, reducing pump prices by 5 cents a litre for its Formula 98, 95 and 92 petrol, and reducing the price of the 98UL petrol by 3 cents.

 

SPC and ExxonMobil followed suit with a 5 cent reduction.

 

Caltex reduced pump prices by 5 cents for its gold and silver petrol, while its platinum with Techron petrol went down by 3 cents.

 

All companies said customers would continue to receive "additional discounts" when they pay with selected credit cards or with their loyalty cards. - CNA/de

Actually saw from the news that CASE wanted all petrol stations to be more transparent of their prices.Unless we have a small table of comparision between all petrol stations and their rates after the normal discounts then we can immediately know which one is indeed the cheapest. :smile:

Petrolwatch has tried to show the comparison of the petrol prices of the different stations, but guess it hasn't fully incoporate the other discounts.

Hee! i more kiasu.Pumped last tues and top-up abit yesterday.

Then went home to calculate what difference had i lugi due to the price-cut.

Then found out only 50cents-1 dollars only.:sweat:

 

By the way, tues i pumped in Yishun: -22%

Then yesterday i pumped at amk:-23%(after some on-site discussion,think the discount depends on the location)

But ULG98 at ~$1.30-1.35 nia.

 

 

Don't know if they are going to extend the on-site discount of 8% or not.

If not,then today become:-14%/-15%.:weep:

eh like that ah then my no.plate got both leh........rossi follow by hayden......wah......my no. plate so nice.anyway i just got back from my 1st ICT.Wah damn siong ah....camp site at jalan lunsam.ulu place somewhere ard cck...... 1st day go there rain liao.....in the end we start build basha at 7pm then makan then rest a while b4 doing sentry......while sleeping ard 10pm,gana attack by black ants idiots those ants were happily biting away until i make my way out of the basha......after close examining,my sleeping area were invaded my them.......after which i trace where they came from.they invade my field pack :help: after which i open up to find the cause...saf honey apricot fruit bar which i had ate n left the wrapper in my fieldpack side pocket b4 leaving camp.wat a sway nite......spend 2 hrs clearing the ants from my fieldpack....slept at 12am......after that spiders attack my basha......follow by air attack by mosquitoes....in the end i nearly suffocate myself by covering my head with saf t-shirt.....never had a gd rest........after my sentry duty went back to my basha to discover centipede,army of spiders n newly hatch baby spiders by the side of my basha(still in the web).......after that 2nd day rain again...making the whole camp site muddy n dirty.how wat to do still got 9 more years to serve how?

jason, last nite we pump SPC at this thomson's SPC i think. given 23% discount leh. me and fabbie also got 23%. duno why?

 

some ulu pump got more "on site" discount.

 

wanan go do a comparison on which petrol is more value for money in SG?

 

anyway i beginning to like SPC. i travel for 340km and pumped only 14L. My fuel compsumption is 24.28km/l sial. hee! but of coz travel normally and not racing normally. heheh. and my full tank for 14l is $26. I pay only $19 i think. yaHoo~
