I think I remember reading this somewhere in the news. Had gotten such calls myself. How they work is to call you, then before you can answer, they will hang up, then get you to call back.

 

It will then be answered by an answering machine. How they "earn" is through the IDD charges, which normally they have a connection with local tele-operators. But I do understand that Local operators do not work with such scams companies. From what the news reported, Singtel claimed that they din receive any compaines regarding such calls. So guess they are just trying their luck with +65 numbers.

 

If I remember correctly, IDD charges are incurred by the caller not the receiver. So if you pick up, you won't be billed anything.

Think public sector will be getting fat bonus

hmm Public sector bonus is fixed one leh.... earlier in May they already announced how much bonus they will get in July and then in December ma...

 

so most prob it will affect next's year's bonus bah.... unless private companies such as primas then different case la.

 

well, in anyway, park at a proper lot bah.. even if never put coupon at most its also 8 bucks fine. Parking on pavement when you are not in sight is not worth the chance...

Maybe those trunk call that they request to bill the receiver instead?

It can be done but dunno how it works. Probably req to go thru an operator bah

ehm..there AWS (13th month bonus), performance bonus (depend on oneself) & the last dunno call wat, that have to depend on the country growth or something like that (GDP?). Think will receive ard April-May bah. But they calculate at end of the year mah, isnt it?

 

So will you be getting the bonus since you on study leave but go back to serve once in a while?
