Last night, I talked to a brother (Whisk's friend, forgot his name. Paiseh!) there at KKFC, I have set my mind on a new bike to upgrade to next year.

 

Suzuki K6 - Blue and white paint works

 

2nd party insurance at $800 plus only for a 27 yr old brother I met yesterday. For me I believe will be slightly cheaper.

 

Then I shall get an Arai helmet with matching blue and white designs.

 

And a matching full leather racing suit with Suzuki designs from Regina...

 

Racing boots and steel knuckle gloves...

 

Akan Datang next year March! (I hope!)

 

 

I hope I have enough money to pull this off then

If i tell u guys how far i go u all surely shock one. Anyway i will post the pics i took for my meter how far i go, this tuesday if possible as i got to go sleep now. Tml i doing duty and won't be coming home.

S4 EAST SIDE RIDERS

Just sharing some casual thoughts here, my dear brothers.

 

Ever since I took out my Givi box, I have been riding faster than usual. And I like the feeling of boxless riding so much that I look forward to the 29km ride from my home in Tampines to my site office in Telok Blangah every morning, even though I have to carry all my stuff in a backpack.

 

Funny hor? Keke!

 

Then I was thinking should I put back my box because of rainy season, that I might need to carry a lot of barang. Then I thought of getting a tank bag instead.

 

I tell myself I should start getting used to not having the convenience of a box to hold all my stuff, as I planned to get a Class 2 sports bike in about 4 months time. I cannot possibly put a box on a sports bike then what! Haha! Sure look not nice one.

 

But to be honest, I really like my S4 very much. Sigh! How I wish I can still keep her. It will be difficult for me to part with her then, but then as in life, things changes. I just have to accept the change and keep the memories of riding a S4 in my heart for as long as I can.

 

In this world that we live in, things don't last forever, but only in our memories can we keep things eternal.

 

Enough philosophy bullshit! Haha!

Don't worry too much about upgrading your bike. The time to upgrade will come your way one, it is just a matter of time.

 

 

I hope that all the brothers that I know here and elsewhere, no matter what bike we change to in the future, we all still can remain as good brothers, who will look out for each other.

 

Let us make our riding life's journey together. Yeah!

 

Scali when we are old liao, maybe we are still together as one group of bike siao!

Assuming you are single, may you find such a galfriend soon.

 

But think again, if your galfriend keep on nagging at you to sell bike and drive car, it might not always be the case where they long for materialistic comforts. Maybe she just want you to ditch riding for driving for your own safety, because she cares for you.

 

Imagine mothers nagging at sons to give up riding, they do it out of care and concern only also.

 

Sometimes, we might be blind to see the concern behind because it was often in the form of nagging, but look deeper and you will see...

Bro Roy can feel how much u emjoyed without the box... I guess u sure take lots of high speed corner now.. haha That day i also took out my box and went for the outing... Actually i find it good for taking corner but i somehow feel abit uneasy. It feels too bumpy on uneven road and it feels a bit scary like the back part too light... With the box i feel the back part more stable wont bounce that much... This is how i feel but cornering wise with out box is really good. Really salute u guys i cant go without BOX its too impt to me. I dun wan to carry helmet bags so on for shopping... hee This Sat going to malacca with a few of my colleagues still thinking if i should take out the box. Any guys who wants to go can join in not a prob. We be going in around 10 plus 11 perhaps coming out early eve or night.

Oh well yes I'm single at the moment, used to pillion my ex around, but somehow I know that she don't really feel safe being on the bike, comparing to being in a car, but too bad, I enjoy riding, plus no way I can afford a car now..

 

Anyway we broke because of other reasons, and not because of the bike.. hahaaha.

 

Yes, I know that our parents, friends, gf. are all concerned about our safety on the road, I'm sure we all do and we appreciate that...rite?

 

Well I'm aware of the risks and dangers of riding a bike, and I know my limits, I sure we all do, but I also strongly believe we are mature and responsible enough to value our lives and ride safety

 

Well if our time is up.. even if you are behind 5cm thick of iron, death will still come knocking on your door.

 

Moral of the story... ride safety and not let our love ones worry about us!

Haha i feel the same Bro Magnet.. too dependant on the box already... dun like the feeling of carrying the helmet and other barang barang around when I'm out at shopping centres. Although it quite spoilts the look for the bike... at least S4 still looks good with a Top box.

Roy, get a tank bag lahz.. Sometimes I take out box too and when i need to carry many things, i bring along a tank bag.

 

Magnet, I oso find that riding without box feeling more shiok. At the same time, have to make do with the inconvenience of boxless riding. All this talk of removing box make wanna remove it right now, brackets and all. But I need to arrange my underseat barang2 arrangement first cos need to put raincoat and stuffs..

 

Arsenz, to your finding right girlfriend attitude! Love is still love, but great love is such that you shouldn't sacrifice who u are and what u like to do..
