Anyways...Pls do not Super-Glue into the Thread of the Baffler...Its a long explanation so I'm not gonna go into details...but change the CAP Screw from an Allen Key Type to a Star Type...Thread Size Remains the same...I will try to get you guys a sample...juz tell me the Thread Size...Metric Size...:thumb:

Before Duplicating...Check with Mezzo the cost of a Original Baffler...It maybe cheaper to buy one instead of Making one...:thumb:

 

The Micron Baffler is actually Pretty Simple...you only need a Solid Stainless Pipe with a Correct Wall Thickness as the Original Plus a Perforated Tube with a Similar Dimension...this will increase the Air-Flow, thus more *Vroom* sound...but I think its not gonna be legal although it will look pretty much the same...:smile:

i asked Mezzo this qns b4... He say they dun sell the baffler separately leh...

 

that was y i was trying to look for someone who can make 1.

 

i think the thief has a micron too...

The original one is actually very easy to make...if you dun include the stoppers surrounding the Mid-Section of the Baffler...so must be carefull not to let it drop into the muffler. I dun have the Spot-Welding machine, but I know Motor Shop should have...the rest can do by hand tools..

I think you also have to ask LTA...What if your baffler gets stolen?...Can we make our own...cos if you do, there is no serial number...how?

i think it has to be addressed in the papers man. i think the last time i wrote to the papers was turned down maybe my Queen's english to powerful. i dun see why someone has to steal a baffle lest he has the same exhaust... is it the same for class2 bikes?

 

quizzy juz bring the police report wif u in case.

i think i need to order that security bolt from u too quizzy.

The Star Wrench is not difficult to get...but at least the Thief will not have the tool off hand I guess...

 

But if the Baffler is stolen and Mezzo does not sell it...lagi chia lat...make your own also dunno can pass or not...No one is gonna buy an end-can juz for the blardy baffler...hahaha

well... then juz take the risk man. my fren's R1 his baffle flew off at 2nd link (no joke his bluddy exhaust can emit blue flames) and he's been riding without one ever since... oni think when he sees ROV/TP he will siam like mad dog.

 

but if u can fabricate one to look just like the damn "ring" to make it "look" street legal then i guess it's 50% safe???
