ORGANISER: Issayboi

VENUE: MALACCA DAY TRIP

DATE : 11/11/2006

TIME : 0900 hrs SHARP

LATEcomers will be severly dealt with. (Pay for whole trip)

MEETING PLACE: GP ESSO

Average travelling speed: 130-150km/hr

 

AGENDA FOR THE DAY:

1000hrs Machap petrol station

1045hrs lunch will be chicken rice balls

1130hrs -1145hrs find the hotel put belonging (for those who wan to have a shower first also can )

1230hrs GO-KART time!

1500hrs late lunch ( thinking of kennys roger ) after tat OTOT at the shopping centre... gather back ard

1700hrs proceed back to hotel again rest and relax ( warning dun wear white clothes if not later kana sabo i dunno hor )

1830hrs dinner time ( if nth change will have BAT KU TEH for dinner )

Riders are to ensure bikes are in suitable condition please. Proper riding attire such as jean, jacket, cover shoes and full face helmet

from the going to melaka list.

there are a few new rider going for distance trip

 

i would like all riders (including myself) to take note of certain points.

 

1. ensure that you bike are in proper riding condition

eg:

-steering cone not loose ( jack your bike up and see if there is any restriction on the movement)

-wheel bearing are still intact (does the wheel spin smoothly)

-brake pad (min of 2mm thickness)

-headlight (best to be yellow as white do not shine far)

-all lighting are working (signal, brake and headlight)

-engine oil (if your mileage is abt to due, kindly do a eo change, dun save on eo else engine wear and tear you got to ans for it)

-coolant (ensure your cooling system is working, most of the time should be ok)

-tires (pls ensure that your tire are in riding condition, meaning enuff groove and nt slick tires)

if any of the above is not meet, pls look for your mechanic and retify it at least 1 week before hand (mechanic sometime may juz do it wrongly. give yourself some time to fuk the mechanic and make it right)

 

2. rider and pillion

pls ensure you are equip with the following:

- full face helmet

- glove (those that cover the all fingers)

- riding jacket (else min a denin jacket)

- covered shoe (boots prefered)

- riding pant (else min full lenght jean and not those 3/4 jean)

- rain coat (expect rain along the way, always assume the worst case else is bonus)

if any of the rider got problem with the above, pls pm me. i will try to help u to get some d/c (no promise) on the purchase.

 

3. prior to the trip:

- pls ensure proper rest. (how much depend on yourself, best min of 6hr of continous sleep)

- if possible do not quarrel with your partner and affect yourself during the ride.

- pls pack all your neccessary items before you go to sleep.

- if you require morning call pls ensure that someone wakes you up, eg mother =) or any of the rider going for the trip.

 

4. on the trip itself, may subject to changes:

- travelling speed will be 130-150km/h, any rider not comfortable with the speed, pls sound out.

- depends, some rider will be OTOT but main grp will be in convoy.

- convoy travelling to be in staggered formation.

- no one is to over take the lead bike unless to avoid accident.

- although in convoy pls always be a friendly road user, some of the truck will be as fast as you are. let them overtake you.

- remember IF there is NO marker at any point JUST go straight unless other you been brief.

- not sure of the way, pls travel slow!

 

the organiser will appoint the neccessary marker, sweaper, last/lead bike. the rest just enjoy the ride

 

for more information, pls refer to the attachement on convoy

 

5. misc issue:

- how much to bring (rider to change S$150 shld be more than enuff for petrol and food. go kart (nt sure how much may wan to bring more in case) pillion be guai juz change some for your own shopping. not enuff, suck thumb)

- medication (shld nt be expecting anyone to be sick. if any is not feeling well kindly excuse yourself unless allow by organiser for your own safety. for medication like LS etc you may bring along but do not see the need)

- clothing (juz that set that you are wearing shld be ok, if need some bathing item will be good to refresh yourself, pls bring some for me too )

- ladies need (i guess u all shld know what is required etc)

 

lastly

WE GO AS A GRP WE COME BACK AS A GRP.

let make this trip enjoyable for all.
