i bought my bike from BP also...

 

as 4 run in...

is either hard run or soft run....

but best is jus keep to the traffic rule and it will be jus nice...

hey.. sorry to disturb what do u mean by after sales.. then what insurance does BP gives you.. i find the price cheaper than other shop but then i do not know what is included and not included over at BP but my cousin and colleagues told me that the bike over there can be bought wan?? haiz... damn confused sia..

hey.. btw whats the fuel cunsumption liked.. u bought the normal version or the limited edition wan.. then whats the servicing like costs.. does the run in needs at least 1000km.. then after that i need to change engine oil, and what else..

When i buy that time they where also bidding for COE. I think BP offer u the lowest price among the rest. Once the COE is out, you can go down and ask them to give u the quotation for the bike, coe plus insurance.

 

For insurance you can choose 3rd party which is the cheapest. If you just pass 2B and under 21 then it is very expansive. So 3rd party is the best choice. If not then go for 3rd party + fire and theft(aka 2nd party) more protection.

 

If paying by installment, your min downpayment shld be around 800 - 1k. You can choose how long you going to pay the remaining, if i m not wrong maximum is 3yrs. Also there is no penalty for early settlement.

 

Another thing is that u will nd to pay for the IU on the day u collect the bike which i can't remember how much but is below 200.

 

After sale service there is really ..so after u buy the bike, any wrong you will have to go straight to hong leong yamaha service center. Basically you jus go there pay installment and leave.

oh.. okay.. but the bike itself doesn't comes with the IU unit when they says on the road ar.. then if i intend to buy where can i get the box or the sports rim.. my gf felt that the spooky rims are quiet dangerous.. but what kind of rims does bp gives acutally.. if i dp to them only on the third party insurance then i wanna change it to fire and theft can i top up them with cash rather than re calculating on the instalments..

For running in of bike, like ken say. Either u do a hard run-in or normal run-in.

 

Hard run-in, u will nd to change the engine oil more offend.

 

For normal run-in you just change eo at 1000.

 

I also think that just ride normally is the best run-in method. Once in a while rev your bike a bit more.

 

The only different between the normal and limited the is the racing footrest. Is up to u too choose which 1 you prefer. BP do not have the so called limited edition. I and ken brought the normal 1 and change to racing footrest ourself.

 

I suggest u get the normal 1 from BP, cheapest, and the change to the racing footrest yourself and u still get to keep your stock footrest. If u get from ASP it more expansive if u compare the price. The cost of a yamaha original racing footrest is about 180(without installation)

Nope it do not include IU. I ask the bike shop the same question too. U can add 200 to have it come with original yamaha sport rim.

For the above you nd to check with BP. And the insurance is only for 1 year. U nd to renew the next year and u can choose to change it to 2nd party ltr.

 

Box wise, u can get it from lim ah boy at kalantan lane.

After 1000 u will nd to change your spark plug, engine oil and oil filter.

 

It depend on what type u engine oil and spark plug u use.

 

It varies from abt $20 to $50.

For the time being just ride normal untill 1000 first.. don nd to change anythihng for the time being.. Join us for outing soon and alot of bro here will tell u wad to do so don worry abt it first..

u nd to wait for the new coe to come out.. if more u nd to top up.. if not then lucky for u.. tell them u wan sport rim.. if possible try to call them asap if u have place dp for normal 1(200 more sport rim is worth it i think.. i change it too).. compare to other shop..LAB is cheaper.. box and sport rim u nd to check with ah boy.. box shld cause around 90+ around there plus installation.. (ken is it ah?? that time u install around this price right)

den he will jus tell u the price... (for COE i dunno bout it... cause when i buy tat time i dun care other thing liao i only care when i get the bike... simpilly fall in love with my blink blink daring....) _|_ u SUBARU!!!!!

they will tell you how much u wan to DP(downpay) or FP(FullPay)

min 4 me tat time is 700(4-5mth ago)

after all tat they will tell u when u collect ur bike, bring extra 150 4 the IU if u wan to fix....

remember to ask him the bike come in with sport rim or spoke??

reason is the bike cause more exp

so the free thing is actually include in the bike price liao...(infact is not free, yet u still have to pay installment 4 the next 2-3yrs....)

Yes bro, thanks for the help from botak... now is loud and powerfull.. i suggest u buy hella 1.. easier to install.. i use the stebel.. slightly bigger and the diagram is a bit confusing.. but still able to get it done..
