Need Help with Rims

Hi,

 

Need help from experienced riders... just change tire but my spoke rims have rusted hence burst the inner tube..

 

if i need to change rims where to do it? or can just file away the rust without changing rims?

 

advice please..

First of all, it will be useful to tell what bike u are riding so that we can advise you better. You can change the spoke if they are beyond their lifespan. Or you can powercoat the rims and spoke together for easy maintainence.

Can try to change the spoke first. Worst case , just change the whole spoke and rims. Can try to see whether any alloy rim in the market that can fit front and back. Tubeless tire less headache when kena nail as no tube . Cheers.
