Hi SBF-ers,

I'm currently riding an 2008 Ninja 250r (registered in 2011) and recently i've been losing sleep over this

electrical circuit problem i've had for over 1-2 month now. I've tried troubleshooting the problem myself but still

the same. I'd appreciate any help/advice/solutions you guys can offer me.

So the problem is the fuse for the brake lights always blow. The circuit for the brake light is the same to the

speedometer light and voltmeter so if the fuse blow and i'm riding at night, i can't see the speedometer properly.

I've changed the fuse about 5-6 times within a period of 1-2 months. Sometimes it doesn't even last a week

and the fuse blow again. Just now i changed the fuse and immediately after i turn on the key, the fuse blow.

One thing to note: before this problem occurred, my rear running lights were not showing. Either the bulb blow,

connection loose or something else. Could this have anything to do with my current problem??

Like i said before, i appreciate any help at all. I just want to resolve this problem ASAP and get it over and done with

if anyone knows of any reputable bike shop that specializes in electricals then do recommend me! Thanks in advance!!

Changing fuse 5-6 times in 2 months is a lot bro... you might wanna get the wiring for all items running in the same circuit checked. If you're able to trace and check the wiring for all the items in the same circuit yourself, it would be quite easy to isolate. Also make sure to check the bulb holders for the brake light and meter light. If you're not sure about what you're doing, most motor shops are able to do it. I had mine done quite some time back in Planet Motors.
