Hi guys.. im a newbie and i wanna learn more.

Im just wondering if you guys could help me answer a few questions abt KTM 200 Exc.

1) I believe 200 Exc motard setup is illegal. If caught, how much the fine?

2) How much the plastic cover for KTM 200 exc?

3) How often to go for servicing and how much? (carb, engine and etc)

4) Any idea how much if i want to re-wire the bike? (make it neater)

5) Is it true that the engine will spoil if i decide to take this bike for a long ride? (I know its a dirt bike, just for fun ride maybe to KL or so)

Appreciate your help guys!

i dun think you would want to ride a 2 stroke 200 exc to KL maintaining throttle 110km/h all the way up north. not even necessary to talk about the engine will spoil. your balls will probably spoil first man, the seat is like plank for the bike plus the pins and needlees feeling of a 2 stroke engine, u gotta have balls of steel for that. lol

Me myself owned 2 KTM 200 EXC back 10 yrs ago, lovely 2 stroke 2B scrambler with fast pickup, a slight punch on the throttle will easy bring up the front. But at only 90km/h the bike is already screaming like the engine going to blow! Not to mention going at 110km/h, unless you change to bigger rear spocket, the vibration on the handle bar is so great that my hands get numb even a 15mins ride, sending my GF home from Sengkang to Jurong West is a nightmare. KTM makes good bikes but I think they are more for competition use.

Might as well get a 2A, 4 stoke if you intend to go for long distance..
