hi all..

i brought tis bike and its renewed for 5 yrs coe only after tt need to scrape i noe..

but i heard got those coe rebate thingy..

is tt rebate can only be use on those bike tt renewed 5 yrs like mine?

since my bike going scrape soon after 5 yrs can i use tt rebate to extend the life?

coe rebate can only be used for purchase of NEW BIKES ONLY...if urs if currently on 5 yrs coe,after that DEFINITELY SCRAPPED....cheers..

I think no one actually answered your question.

 

For rebate, you only get it when you scrap your bike before the due of its COE (e.g. bike registered in 2001 and scrap in 2006). You will get back what is termed as "paper value".

 

Using that "paper value", you can use to offset the COE value only if you purchase a new bike subsequently. Some bikeshops are willing to "buy" back the "paper value" but charges some commission out of the value.

 

Once a bike is renewed for 5yrs, there is no way to further extend the COE of the bike again.

ic.. if scrap means scrap the chassic izzit? the parts i can sell separate? like engine gasket radiator fairing all tis i can take back anot?

everything can take but engine and frame cannot. caz to dereg must have ur frame and engine. everything else is up for grabs...pm me..i want parts!!haha..
