Im leaving the country, have spent alot of doing this baby up last year after renewing decided to change pistons and do a full overhaul with ahseng at 37 motoring. Cant remember the cost but its a bomb.

 

Current Goodies on bike : CNC Mirrors, Renthal Bar, brembo 16x18 MC, stainless steel front line, wavy disc, crash bars, rear hugger, showa adjustable shock, mmoto custom rear rack, shad 48L box, barends, open pipe, ermax double bble screen

 

I have for sale here a good condition 2003 Hornet 250, rare JDM bike, amazing handling, great alternative to s4.

Has single monoshock. Heart comes from a cbr250rr engine that revs till 16k rpm!!

Beautiful sounding engine with rare gear driven cams, similar to vfr/rvf.

Does not use timing chain so no need for chain adjustment. Fc is 20-25kml

 

Reasons why i love the bike:

I4 250 cc - nowadays most 250s are all single cylinder to save co production costs.

Gear Driven Cams - few bikes comes with gear driven cams, it saves on chain maintenance, and usually only on bike bikes like vfrs +rc51 and for wsb aprilia used them before getting ban due to helping them "win". Also honda has stopped using them on the latest vfrs as they say due to increasing noise regulation zzz but i find the whirring noise fantastic. especially cool on a small 250 unheard of.

Tyre size- 180/55 rear bigger than s4 160. 180s like a supersport 600, biggest rear for any 250.

Single rear shock- compared to a S4 which uses dual shocks this would help in handling.

Weight - lighter than an S4, S4 has 168kg dry - Hornet250 149kg.

Revs - till 18k stock

Cool Side mounted exhaust.

Gear driven cams. No camchain, no tensioner and bulletproof with an awesome whirring sound. Its a shame honda stopped making such engines already. Bump!
