Can anyone enlighten me how to use multimeter. Is there any video show how to use multimeter. Thanks

multimeter can get AC voltage, DC voltage, AC current, DC current and resistor reading..

since u post it in bike forum, i assume u wanna noe the DC voltage of yr battery, AC voltage of the coil and charging ability of the rectifier..

resistor reading is more for the pro, testing of the resistance of the wire to get the condition of sensors in EFI bike or wire condition.

for checking voltage of yr batt, u turn the main knob of the meter to DC voltage range.. there will be many sub range within this DC voltage range..

turn to 20 will mean u testing DC voltage that will not exceed 20V. bike batt onli 12 plus wif charging of 15 max..so turn to 20 is more than enough..

for AC voltage of coil, u turn it to AC voltage range wif value of 250.. find the 3 wire output of the coil and there u go.. if the reading doesn't show any much changes, means 250 is too high, try select a lower value range..
