Peace to all,

Main objective: to get a new bike

Main concern:

Don't plan to downpayment a lot. Don't mind paying more for monthly installment.

Current situation:

Riding RD04 African Twin still under hire purchase. About 1.5 years to pay which is abt 3k.

Main Question:

What should I do with my current bike and which shop shud I go to if I wanna trade my bike or even low down payment.

Hope the experience bikers can assist me coz the wear n tear of my current ride is getting clearer. If don't do anything, i will need to go through repair n I foresee a lot of cash will be forced out.

Thank u in advance!

And happy new year to fellow bikers. Ride safe always!!

Trading in always means that you are feeding the salesman and the boss so you almost always take a hefty loss which is unseen but no less painful

Paying by instalment means that painkillers are given with the deal

If it's engine wear and tear, the bike may need an overhaul which is general replacement of parts and also the labour will be costly

If you carry on with your current bike, confirmed costly

If you trade in, also costly

More details on what you mean by wear and tear, you can also read up on CerTech Gel to determine if it is capable of addressing your issues

Otherwise, continuing with your current bike almost always the cheapest option

However, Africa Twin is almost a collector's bike so maintenance should be quite costly

Suggest that you look at another bike if you only want a daily rider
