Hi everybody,

I guess every rider should experience this, paint chip off from either bike frame or other parts of the bike.

I have done DIY patching and re-spraying of small parts of the bike but yet to have experience in doing up chip off paint job of my bike.

Questions:

1) Have anybody have experience in doing this?

2) I would like to know is, once you putty the chip off area, what you do next?

3) Do you sand down the small area? What grade of sand paper you would used?

4) As you know is in the bike frame, how do you spray back the original colour and not effecting the rest of the area. You do not want to spray the whole frame again! How do you achieve the flatness of the new paint job against your old paint works?

I welcome all comments on this topic. If you can pasted your photo on your DIY it will best.
