FAQ

1. Which is better? Super 4 or GSR 400?

Personally, I prefer GSR400 due to its superior handling mainly attributed by its rear mono-shock as compared to Super 4’s dual suspension. Also, for this $6500, you can only get a Super 4 that is more than 10 years old. A brand new Super 4 goes for about $17,000 brand new.

2. Are parts hard to get?

Not at all. I frequent Planet Motorcycle and Bikeworkz and have yet to encounter a situation where spare parts could not be found. If you prefer to DIY, parts could be bought from KS Motorcycles (Jln Besar), Eversuccess (Lembu Rd) or Guan Hoe (Rangoon Rd).

3. Are GSR 400 parts more expensive than Super 4 parts?

Some parts cost slightly more, but that is mainly due to it being made in Japan as compared to Thailand or China. You get what you pay for.

4. Is the GSR 400 more expensive to maintain compared to Super 4?

Marginally, as it requires slightly more engine oil than Super 4 and the tyres are wider (better stability and handling). Otherwise, it is comparable to Super 4.

5. Is your price negotiable?

Feel free to negotiate, but please exercise good judgment by not lowballing me. Lowballers will be ignored.

6. Can I COI or pay by installments?

My bike was paid for in cash, therefore there is no option to COI. I do not accept installments either. Payment will be made in cash.
