Bike seat restoration

hi guys, my wave 125s's seat was cut opened by some itchy hands. therefore, i need to repair the slit, but i am abit reluctant to wrap it back as i think it's relatively more expensive.

 

mi neighbour told me i could get those leathery pieces at a store called ''min shen'' or sumthing which is located at boon keng. however, he's an uncle and he gave me directions that has slangs in it that i couldn't comprehend the exact directions. according to him, the price of that piece of material is low and i just need to glue it onto the seat. aesthetically, effects not the best but easier on the wallet.

 

so anyone here knows about this place and how to get there? i stay in geylang btw.
