Bro,

What did he meant when he said the deauville is not going to be there..? Did he meant that someone has bought the deauville or going to buy the bike. Maybe unless he has arrange for the deauville to be exported.. :(

In any case, if the bike is still there, you can ask him not to export and arrange to sell to you. The deauville is in very good tip top condition. I think license plate FT. The bike wouldn't go more than 5K. I bought mine from Looi's FU plate and cost me 5.5K. All done up.

So maybe you can still go to the shop and try.. good luck ! :thumb: Wait to hear your good news !

Cheers! :thumb:

i think what he meant is that the deauville is suppose to come from another shop/seller , but it did not make it's way to looi's motor.

didn't ask much as the background is very noisy lol.

heard this bike shop is a little expensive , but they are responsible and has good after sale service?

btw i called up KnT, clifford told me he has got 4 deauville customers there.

hmm is deauville's brake pad same size with other model?? how much does it cost?? i very scare cannot find spare / wear and tear parts leh ..

Hi and welcome to the deauville family!!

For your question:

1) i need to switch off headlight to start the engine, is it normal?

Dont think its normal, i dont have to turn off headlight to start engine (riding 2002 model), but i think bro hippo has the same problem??

2) its quite hard to shift to neutral especially when stationary

It should be relatively easy to shift to neutral, might be your clutch plate worn out if im not wrong.

i) Actually regardless of any types of vehicle, it is always better to switch off ur headlights before switching off the bike(though nowadays bikes headlight cant be switch off fully)

ii) just rev the bike a bit i believe u can shift to neutral.

thanks Boner for the quick reply :)

its really a nice bike to ride on the expressway.. very stable compared to my previous ver s

Bro..

Of course you are right. This deauville is very stable especially even above 140km/h. Ask bro Boner and bro Ray. They should know and can tell you. Both these bros was with me at ECP towards Changi. And they were doing 150-160km/h. Me of course being kiasu, not so brave, doing only 120km.. http://www.skyscrapercity.com/images/smilies/angel1.gif

Wait till you meet bro Valen, another bro who will swear the deauville is a sports bike and not a tourer becoz he treats the deauville like a ducati. The other bros can vouch for that.. ! lol http://www.skyscrapercity.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif

Thanks hippo for the reply. Regarding the headlights, that what the bikeshop told me also, if i switch off headlight it starts smoothly.

For the neutral gear, i adjusted the clutch cable and its much better now. :)
