i just adjusted the biting point nearer, never change clutch cable.

 

As for the manual, only managed to find on the internet one for NTV650 (naked, early 90s model) which i think deauville is based on.

$500 well spent

 

i also service my bike at K&T. Clifford and his other mechanic are both very experienced and know how to be very careful with the fragile fairings of our bike!

Hard luck on you to have a break down just after servicing. Moreover, if your bike breakdown in mudland, the towing is pretty expensive.

 

Anyway, fuel pump is a common problem with deauvilles. But according to my mechanic, he says if you encounter problem with the fuel pump, there are ways to fiddle with it to get it started again. http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif
