hey bro sam, I think I am unable to make it as I finish work about 9:30-10pm in woodlands, and need to start off another day early about 7am.

I have a feeling many of our brothers actually live in the east, based on the trend of meeting points. :), so cool, close to east coast and downtown east.

Hi, Guys,

Sorry for the intrusion.

I am not sure whether I have asked before here or not.

But what is the FC like for a Deauville 650 or Deauville 700?

I guess the 650s are not common nowadays, am I right??

Roughly how much will be the road tax and insurance (for a 33 yrs old guy with 5% NCD) ??

I am thinking of working out my finance and if finances allow, will look for a 2nd hand 650 (if still can find 650. If not, guess got to look for a 700, which may be an over-kill for local travelling.) early next year.

Needs the extra storage space with Deauville's two side panniers. :)

Thank you very much in advance for any advices.

Cheers. :)

Yo seahmh,

I currently riding the 650 as some of our deauville brothers still do. Btw 700 still an advantage as for its performance and system. Surely its performance comes with great price than 650.

Our adviser brother Hippo can help your of more details information regarding Deauville.

Hope you gotten your Deauville bike soon to join us for fun and laughter...

Hi seahmh:

1,Insurance, I think rang at 350 to 500+, you can try on line to find out.

2, FC is around 20-25KM/L

3, still have many NT650 for sale at shop, but play with e price if you buy for shop.

4, Good Luck, hope to see you soon:thumb:

The 2010 Deauville in hippo's posting is X 3, but I think the price must be   .

Not so soon. :) Fastest will be next year when I have paid up most of my instalments for my current scooter.

At first, I thot I will be satisfied with a scooter as a daily commuter, but with my Mrs in pillion behind, it is like "powerless", takes great great effort to go up normal MSCP slope...

So I got to endure for a while first and work out my finances too.

Thank you very much for your advices.

Thanks. Guess it will be just slighly below my close-to-S$600 insurance for my previous ride.

2, FC is around 20-25KM/L

Wah, the FC is not too bad for a CL2 ride.

3, still have many NT650 for sale at shop, but play with e price if you buy for shop.

- You mean brand NT650s or re-sale NT650? I am looking at a re-sale one.

- I did see a silver colour re-sale, can't remember it is a FV or a FW or a FX, Deauville in my bike shop (A*b**t M*t*r*) along Bukit Merah Lane. But look like a little "worn-out" for the outlook of the bike, never check on the mileage, etc...

- But don't know whether it is a 650 or a 700.

- BTW, how do we differentiate between a 650 or a 700 by its outlook?

- Possible to differentiate?? :)

4, Good Luck, hope to see you soon:thumb:

- Think not so soon lah.

- Like in my previous post, fastest will be next year when I have paid up most of my instalments for my current scooter. :)

Thanks for all your advices, hippo. :) :thumb:
