problem wif headlite....

hi guys.. recently one mth back i change my normal beam litebulb i assume.. cause i riding runner200. which hav 3 lite, super dim lite, normal n hi beam.. after changing it was ok got lite... then after a while like siao, need to hit the headlite to allow the normal beam to work.. now, it totally no lite no matter how i hit.. take out the bulb n c, no coil nothing wrong.. all lite working fine..

 

previously the mech said, batt low can spoil the bulb.. any idea??? btw doe hi beam consume more voltage compared to normal beam?

Battery low dun spoilt bulb - they jus dun light up or light up dimly. Yr mech from MARS....

If u hv to hit yr bike to get lights then yr lighting connections are loose, do check laaa. Hit yr horse again she might kick u back hor...... i tink she did by blacking out on U.....

cause i tried taking in n out the connector of the wires, i find it very tight.. so shouldnt b contact loose... funny leh...

brand i not sure bro, cause take, nv c any wording... it is those blue bulb white light...it cost 10-12 fogotten the exact price.... btw the mech isnt the usual mech that serve me... so i not use he pro or not... btw when i first bought this bike, first hand , 1st mth already the bulb no lite.. then it last til one mth back... so if i change wil b the 3rd one...

Maybe its due to the connection.. Since u bought it first hand, why not go back to the dealer instead ??..

yeap, if possibile do check yr fuse box as well .....

if the bulbs not original, it can be spolit within 1mth. i bought from jb once, both spolit @ the same time. my mech said better use original. if its too hot, your headlight can melt! mine abit..

sure... the switch located at the left hand side, hi beam thingy switch... he found that sometime norm beam on ,sometime not when he press the button repeatingly... so changed one switch .. cum the socket from the headlite one, the one u need to remove in order to bring the head lite ard... that one also loose but he nv change.. currently the lite is ok.. hehehe.. if goes back again, i know the prob liao, is to change the socket... hehehe...

Thanks for the update - Runner200 light switch are poor qty, last guy i know after fitting his HID system, his switch also blow. After changing light switch all ok loew .................
