hi guys, just wondering, when you guys lube your chain w chain lube, does your chain become total black? i've seen some super nice and shiny chains, and wonder why my "no brand" lube makes my chain rather black. it seems ok since bicycle lube usually is black too, but i just would love to add to my knowledge base.

thx! :p

normally i wash my chain with kerosene then i lub it with EO and it shines.. but i think those old chains like quite worn out ones quite hard to get them to shine.. cuz like got layers and layers of dirt on it alr.. then need to scrub very hard to get the dirt out.. maybe just change your chain if it is kinda worn out alr? then keep it shiny from there?
