How much custom is too much custom for Singapore

I will be moving to Singapore in 2010 from Australia. I am looking at purchasing a 2008 FXCWC for the purpose of customisation. However I am worried about the restrictions that would be inplace should I wish to bring the bike with me (I'd rather not have to buy a new bike in Singapore and try and find a reliable and knowledgable mechanic/chop shop in a place where I don't know anyone).

 

As far as I can tell from LTA, as long as the bike is under 3 y/o, all customisation is done by an authorised Harley dealership, I keep all documentation and as long as I fork out the $$$, then I shouldn't have a problem with bringing a bad ass custom across the Indian Ocean. however this sounds too easy, and I was wondering what some of the common complications that one comes across with registering a customised bike in Singapore.
