    ooops so sorry for not replying for meetup post. was away from the internet for some time. anyways, the ideal meetup would be somewhere in december? cos currently am finishing up the remaining days of school. and yeah, sometime after 7 would be a great deal. for a place, somewhere where you guys normally hangout,, which i never attended. peace. my tyres or rim or something somewhere along that line, is squeaking. any idea what's happening? went to a repairshop, mechanic says nothing wrong. he changed the bearing for me and its still the same. and he see nothing wrong with it. but after i ride, especially when making a right turn at low speed, the squeaking sound can be heard. there's another thing, my bike seem to emit funky2 sound. it sounded like a loose chain kinda sound. please rectify it before i go to the repairshop and tell them the proper problem. thanks alot peoples.

  7. Just to share experience and gain opinions from the fellow forummer. I had a recent brush with a taxi. A white one, presumably a Mercedes cab, on Sunday morning around 0200++ just outside the Istana aproaching Plaza Singapura (thats a one way 5 lane road). This taxi cut into my lane (which is the 2nd lane from the right). Accelerate quite fast (understandable, an auto car) and jam brake on noticing a trishaw on the road. And yours truly was behind it, following it, never notice there was a trishaw right in front of the taxi, jammed brake and skidded on the road and suffered a fall. I only suffered abrasions and luckily with no broken bones or damaged parts on the bike. I didn't get to notice the taxi's number, neither did anyone around. So could I bring this up to the authority. And from reading the post fellars, judge me in this situation. And hope they get their what they gave others.

    Hey, i'm seriously wondering and pondering about this, if i'm gonna sell my dna, how much would it fetch? cos i bought it from the shop, it cost me ard $3.8k++ exluding insurance and road tax. so i need your opinion on this. i'm really keen on buying an offroad machine, namely, XR125, KTM 200 or WR200. so i need ur help in this, guys. should i or should i not sell. should i or should i not wait. should i or should i not change bike. and welcome lawrence.

    yeah. i'm the guilty one. blame it on the holland village comittee. why the hell should they post construction works there when they know jolly well all the road gates would be close at 6ix. its disrupting people like me to go to work. haha. dan! tt wasn't intentional, was late and the only choice left was that little bit of small road to go against. lolz. hope no summons gets to me. count me in on the next outing. i hope to get there.

    i'm keen on servicing DNA. where's the place. need to change belt and rollers. and more stuffs that i don't know of. most prolly early next month? ard 4th - 12th. help me ard, guys? and yeah, need to go to piaggiocentre too. need to buy the head ferring. and yeah, after i took out the filter, my speed drop. haha.. from initially 122kmh i cud do, now its a mere 108++. why is this so? and there's a certain rattling sound whenever its idle, like the sound of anytime-the-engine-will-stall. tts why i needed a servicing and a good bath for the bike.

    what a luck yesterday. i rode past a yellow dna, which my gf thought is a super4, at marriot hotel ard 1915hrs. and later on at fort canning, 2130hrs, a red one then. i saw two in a day. yay! own up culprits owners! own up. hahha. so when would we be meeting up guys? what about early next month. during the 1st week of september? cheers. zu:L.

    hey.. i've rode to school this morning. after touching 115kmh, suddenly the bike 'kinda' decelerate (without me decelerating) and accelerate as per normal. it happens like a split second perhaps? i'm afraid its the piston problem. is it?

    mine had the same problem too. always those sound. and i don't seem to know what was the problem. and on some occasion, more recently, my bike won't get to start by just pressing the electrical switch alone. either i'd press the switch longer to get it start or i'd accelerate together while pressing. is any of these methods unhealthy? well if it is, any solution to rectify the problem?\ secondly, is there any manual starting approaches to start the bike ifit fails to start altogether. e.g. other manual bikes can approach the push start or better known as the racing start method by just clutching in on 2nd gear and release the clutch while in motion to get it started or again they could pull the choke together with it? is there any similar methods for dearest Gilera DNA 180? thirdly, a minor problem on my case perhaps, when i pull on the rear brake, the brake light doesn't appear. it only works on my front brake though. i've been told its the switch or wiring problem. can i noe how i can manually fix this? lastly, hehehe, i've been wanting to fix a neon light to the bike. yes yes, it is illegal and it is known to be fine oer $100 for one neon but still i wanna. the problem is, i do not know where the battery lies in the bike. so i can fix it straight.cos i got a friend who can do this stuff, but unsure about Gilera bikes. lastly, part 2, i wanna noe about all the parts in the bike. so i can more fully understand that. anyways, thanks guys for reading. will be counting on you. i'm a one-monther owner of DNA. thats explains the noobieness and curiosity.

    Yes. I'm alright. Minor bruises and minor damage on the bike only. Other than that i'm fine. Thanks for the concern. Yes I agree. Riding above 90 is already too fast. On average i had it for 75kmh - 90kmh. ROV once stopped me on AYE when I was riding just mere 105kmh. Anyways, my bike reached a maximum of 125kmh. And the exhaust is damn silent. Its perfect for non-noise pollutant like me. LOL. And another thing if you wanna bigger tyres, I feel that the stock Pirelli tyres is already thick enough. Plus small but thick tyres is nice I tell ya. It'd be the talk of the town. Trust me. If that is you Dan, you might have been blind! I was just next to you. And tried to catch up with you. Hahah. You're too fast. And congrats bro!

    don't worry too much about riding a steady 110kmh on the highway. It'll do the job for ya. I've got mine a second hander for a mth now, it hasn't given me any problem apart for a few leaking probs in the beginning. As for 30 minutes nonstop hits, i've tested mine. and so far its ok. and there's no weird sound or rumbling either. ps, i frequent wdlands and jurong often, so u may wanna visualize my journey. =).

    heyyyyyyyy!! i saw a blue DNA on Sunday 30th July on the Stevens Road sliproad from PIE. Around 1700hrs++. Whose is that? Hahaha. Cause' he ride past me damn comfy lah! Swerving in between cars. Mine can't sia. I don't dare.. LOL. Later on at 1900++ i buang my bike right in front of the Subordinate Court. Damn cialat lah. Helping my gf take picture in Chinatown then this has to happen. Lucky only minor scratches. And the TAXI driver also kena. heh. My 1st accident since 04July. (and not even a mth yet) (my virgin accident so called)
