Thanks for the tips guys This bike will probably stay with me for a couple of years. It is a transport bike but at the back of my head, I'm really itching to accessorise it Part by part of course, not all at one go.

Lol, vegetable. Haha but thanks for the heads up man. Actually, Wealth handle bar was a legit qns. Other than rental, protape and rizoma, are there any aftermarket handle bars I can go for? And besides, most renthal handle bar are replica going at (50-80 bucks)

Oh, I'm changing the following accessories for my FZ 16.

Hi, I was thinking of changing the handlebar and some accessories ( clutch/brake lever, side mirrors and throttle grip). Would Wing yap be a wise choice ? I'm thinking of changing to a renthal bar, but the guys at wing Yap were saying that they are only left with this brand known as ' Wealth '. It looks the same as Renthal but is it legit?

Ok noted. Last thing, if i were to wash my bike, are there parts of the bike i have to be careful of? And can the solution used to wash my bike be used on the chains too? Thank you.

'Thanks for the tips guys! Now I have a better idea. But where do you get those anti rust spray? Lastly, before my so call 'warranty' at the bike shop ends, is there anything you guys would do to make full use of this warranty period? (eg, change parts etc)

Hi all, i recently just gotten myself a 2nd hand FZ16. I had my 2b license back in 2012 but have been putting off the purchase of a bike till now; so technically I am still a amateur rider and very new to this forum. I was wondering if any of you could share the common problems, know-hows, basic maintenance/checks of a F16 or maybe share some links where i can read up more? My bike is still under the 'warranty' given by the bike shop, however i somehow feel that the mechanic is doing a sub standard job ( e.g., he left the chains too loose after changing the rear tyres, causing a ticking sound when i rode back from the workshop. Also the the previous rear tyre given during the taking over of the bike had a crack, something i didn't realise till i got back home) There might be other problems, just that I'm inexperience to actually detect it. Is there any recommended mechanics or workshop i could go to somewhere in the north area? (e.g., AMK ?) I really want a peace of mind when i am riding on the road, knowing that my bike is in satisfactory condition or have been checked properly by the mechanic. Really appreciate any help given ! Cheers!
