Hi bros im changing my bike from vtec1 to PB1. But when i went to take a look at the PB1, the exhaust header and end can are almost the same as normal vtec series or VerS. I tot PB1 exhaust header should be polished and attached to the endcan as a set... Its a FN plate Can anyone confirm?

Well mine is now abt 28-29km/L, prev was 31-32km/L.. But surely urs is at least betta than the class 2b 2-strokes..

I did little bit of mods to the roadwin.. front spocket bigger, smaller main jet, leaner jet needle, knn air filter, etc.. Overall quite satisfied with its performance already. But of cos fuel comsumption increased by a bit...

Hello uncle soh, i think roy was referring to me actually. I got the bottle from tanjong pagar plaza for abt $11.50 since the auntie said that max-cycle oil had sold out. Anyway after the oil chg i still have probs changing gears, it gets stucked sometimes. Could it be that bcos the oil is for car use?? Hmmm...

Hey all, i met up with uncle stsoh last week and he helped me with some mod to my bike. My bike now feels abit lighter when accelerating and going up slope. I'm pleased with its performance thus far. Credit goes to uncle soh. Will be going to CKA tmr to ask them to adjust my fuel tank gauge. When i went for my 2nd top up on friday there was a good 4L of fuel left in my tank even when the fuel gauge is below the redline.. Now my bike generates tapping sound whenever i clutch in to go to first gear.. Any similar experience? Also the gear sometimes get stucked while kicking down to a lower gear. Have to play with the clutch to get the gears down..

Hey kewl, mine's near the Kaki Bukit area where there used to be a mosque on top of a knoll, 5 mins walk to McDonalds. I've also seen a black RW at blk 121 a couple of times. Wonder if it belongs to one of the ppl in this forum. Seems like RW is catching up in terms of numbers. Had seen quite a few on the road, there's even one at SAFTI MI when i went for SAF day reherseal yesterday.

Just chged my front spocket to 15t. Can i just turn the pilot screw to 2 1/2 turn first w/o bringing the jet-needle's eclip to 3rd slot n chging the main jet to #102? Thinking of purchasing the mainjet first then do the last two mods together, cos roy say its tedious.. izzit??

Ok noted, will follow the advice given. Looks like ive been stressing my engine too much on the first day out from bike shop. Yesterday at ECP tried my top speed. Can only hit 100km/h at 9k rpm. After that my hands were all numb. Need to get used to it i gueez. Im thinking of changing my front sprocket to 15t first sometime dis week. Can i tell the mechanic to adjust the throttle response and jet needle eclip too? Bcos i dont wanna DIY then end up messing things up. See how ppl do first then nxt time can try. hehe..

Hello all, just got my 2nd hand RW VJ125 from cka yesterday. As of now im trying to bond w my bike. At the same time, i hope to learn as much as i can abt the bike's maintanence and the works. I am not sure of the names of certain parts on the bike, so please pardon me. I have some questions, hope u guys can help me out. As said by forumers here, engine vibrates most at 4 - 5 k rpm. I chg gear only after i clear 6k rpm, where vibrations is less. Is that too high, what would be the best rpm to chg gear? Any cleaning products to recommend? Diff parts on the bikes needs diff cleaning products, rite? I'm trying to get rid of the water stains and oil stains on the engine and also on the part where they paste the Super Four V sticker. There's also some rust on the engine. My rear rims are also dirty as a result of the chain oil splashing on it. I'm now reading stsoh's recommendation on light modifications for the RW. Thx for the guide. Hope you guys can guide me along as i progress w my bike.

Thx all for the input. Have spoken to roy from CKA the other day, he seemed a nice guy. Gave me one advice though. Do not rush into buying a bike. A point well taken. Will look around more and hopefully they will lower the price tag on the roadwin. Cheers

That's a very comprehensive guide.. Thx Guez i will just have to keep surveying other shops n try to get the best deal. Really liked this bike's outlook. No dount one of the biggest for 2b in sg. Well other than roadwin, i've also been looking at bajaj. But of course roadwin is top of my list. Will go to other branches to checkout 2nd hand rw if i have the time..

Thx, but its a bit steep for me.. NS guy here. Didn't have time to test ride the rw at kaki bukit eventhough my house is nearby. A few questions, 1) Someone can tell me what to look out for when buying a 2nd hand rw? 2) If i bought a rw at some other bike shop other than CKA, can i still send the bike for servicing there? Thx

Hey all, im new to the biker's world having just got my license last week. I've browsed thru the pages here and is attracted to the rw. A new one would cost roughly 7k+ which is y i am looking to get a 2nd hand... hopefully. I've went to the hq at kaki bukit and saw a 2nd hand rw 125 FX plate. Its going for 4.5k + insurance, but its mileage is already 34k+ km. Is that the average for a 2yr old bike? I'm aware that rw 125 has a low trade in value, so do u guys think the price can be lowered somemore? Any input is appreciated.. Thx
