  1. Hi, may i know how much does a MP3 cost OTR? It's a very cool bike, very safe and stable(3 wheels!) But due to the design, the weight should be quite heavy (200++kg?). The 400cc model would be perfect though... But too bad Im too lazy to carry on my 2A lesson. =) -Kelvin-
  2. Hi, my ODO clocked 99km(still very low mileage) and so far the fastest i've hit was 100+km/h and i believe that 120km/h is achievable in this bike. Beyond that i'm not so sure. Fastest i've gone in my Gilera Runner was 125+km/h and was quite unstable already. Unless got a big fat pillion as a ballast to keep it more stable. Haha. So far no problems with the keyless system, already got so used to it now that i find taking out my key to open the rear box is so troublesome! Lol. Current i'm using a 45litre coocase astra box at the rear as i keep two helmets(one full face and one open face helmet). As for the space in the rear seat, it can swallow my full face helmet with no problems and my raining gear as well. So to fix a box of not depends on wad you usually carry along with you. But my advise is just go ahead and install a box behind. They really come in useful when you have more stuffs to carry. In terms of look, with a big bulky box at the rear, this bike still looks awesome! Haha. As for handling wise, i rode for a day without my box and i conclude that the big box does not affect the overall handling at all(Not the same case as my Runner...). Finally, I believe that cka will gladly offer to install a 45litre givi box as a package when you purchase the bike(while stocks last?). So why not? Cheers. -Kelvin-
  3. You can read up about it here: http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php/113321-Power-Abuser-V2-Equipment-Extreme?highlight= In general terms the VS is to stabilize the electrical systems and the Ignite is to enhance the ignition system.
  4. Hello everyone. It's been almost a week since I've collected my new bike. Here are some of my personal reviews. Ever since I've got my 2B license, I've been riding the Gilera Runner vxr200 for more than 1 and a half year. Initially i wanted to get the Honda PCX (I just dig the new VFR lookalike headlamps), but after a trip down to Boon Siew showroom, i found that there are some of the features of the PCX which i don't really like. First is the width of the tyres, they're skinny. From the back view, the bike reminds me of the Yamaha Fino scooter! Secondly is the drum brake setup at the rear and the differences in feel between the front and rear levers. However, in terms of branding i would definitely choose Honda over Daelim. Pricing wise from what I've got is almost similar to each other. So I ended up purchasing the S3 instead. Like the looks and riding position. The pick up was terrible for me at first as i was really used to the faster Runner (125cc vs 200cc...) But after riding for a while, i can say that for a 125cc bike, it's considered quite powerful(Torque is there, can cope MSCP slopes better than my Runner). Just throttle more and the hardworking engine will deliver the work, slowly and steadily... haha. I had no problems with pillions weighting 60+kg. Most importantly, i no longer have to squeeze with the pillion as compared to my Runner =). The brake system is efficient and responsive enough for me, however, i have to be more cautious when making very sharp and low speeds turning due to the centralized braking system via the left or "rear" brake lever. Would prefer to use the rear brakes only when making such turning as it feels more stable. Ride quality is decent. But i had the same problem as when i got my Runner, wobbling due to lower end tyres. Problem solved after switching to Michelin Gold Standard and Pilot Sport tyres on my runner. But since this is a brand new bike, i shall have them changed later and run on lower pressure as for now. The keyless function is starting to pamper my lazyness and now i wish that i could have the same feature for my rear box! Right now i've not done much changes to the bike except for removing all the badges and changing to heavier bar balancers. I'll be installing my Power Abuser Voltage Stabilizer and Power Ignite system carried over from my runner soon and will let you guys know if the system does make any improvements. That's all folks. Enjoy the holiday seasons and ride safe. Cheers! -Kelvin-
