  1. Looks pretty bad! Is your bike under the shop's warranty? If it is, get them to replace. If not, perhaps you could try going to Boon Siew.
  2. If it helps, I just traded in my 2010 red ST1300 to M1 Motoring a month ago. All stock. Condition is good. Never gave me any problems in my 5+ years owning it. PM me should you need more info. Cheers!
  3. Wow! That is very unfortunate! Did you try to trace back your route to locate it? Anyway, you could make an order from the shop you bought your ST from but it would take a while for it to arrive unless the salesperson could sell you one from another ST on display. You could also go to Boon Siew.
  4. Hi all! Just wondering, where do y'all replace your batteries? Does Looi's offer this service? Cheers! Nic
  5. Hey, man! I'm going tomorrow. What about you?
  6. The motorcycle's very agile in corners than the Hayabusa, to me at least. Not forgetting the comfort. It's heavier in the front end giving you confidence in the handling in all situations. The ABS adds to that confidence. Insurance wise, mine's cheaper than the Busa. I think its got something to do with the brand factor of the insurance calculation. Suzuki > Honda (??). Hope these help! Happy hunting! Cheers! Nic
  7. Then what's your ride doing? Collecting dust and dirt? Hahahaha!! Hi, Andrew! It's been a while!
  8. Hi, intending to get this ride now? Just got mine 6 months ago, 09 model. Those are rumors, for now. The latest you can get is the 2010 model. Hopefully, not the end of the Honda ST series. Hope these help! Cheers! Nic
  9. Thanks for the input, maclife! Makes perfect sense! Now I can ride connfidently when I'm in the 1 bar zone. Greatly appreciate it, mate! Appreciate the trouble you took with the pic! Just curious, what was the hard way you encountered? Empty gas tank despite the readings? I do get about 13-14km/l sometimes but it seems that the total mileage of a filled up tank is similar to what I get now nonetheless. Strange! Cheers, people! Nic
  10. Greetings ST1300 owners, I have a query that has been bugging me since day 1 I owned this ride. Is the mileage displayed before all the petrol in the tank is used up during the 1 bar warning accurate? Mine has been reading about 62-65km even when I've rode about 20km into the 1 bar warning. My current tank mileage is about 420km. If the reading is accurate then the total mileage I'd get for the whole tank would be about 480-500km per full tank! Marvelous! Haha! Appreciate the input to my query, people! Cheers, Nic
  11. Definitely not reasonable. Plus the problem is not resolved despite the second time job. You could tell the mechanic that the problem wasn't there before he did the job. No idea if the mechanic's trying to screw around but you can always try to reason and negotiate with him during the third job. Nic
  12. Hi, Joseph. A brand new STX is about 30-32 grand-ish all in. This is due to the Yen appreciation. Just so you know. Nic
  13. Aaw! C'mon, Fred! You're just being modest!
  14. Agreed. Miss my ride. Kinda sad when trading the ride in but I felt it was a necessity. God knows, I'd be riding one again in the not so near future. Cheers to the Flying Falcon! Nic
  15. 3 months?!? My God! My condolences to you, man.
