  1. ic , so maybe a voltmeter might be helpful afterall , anyway ty.
  2. Ah pek , don mind me asking, how to know if rectifier going to fail soon, and is there any interval to change it(like eo 3k change once etc)
  3. Check near the inner circumference surface of the disc where the lining meets, if its severely worn off it will be uneven
  4. Ah pek If unfortunately e bike fell on the right side(stationary) , what sort of problem with surface ? Did felt a loss of low end power atm -.-
  5. Experiencing the same situation as u, the ticking comes from the left side of the engine when its cold right? its probably valve clearance, high chance .
  6. Hi interested to do a valve clearance of cb400 ver s , need to inquiry how much is it u guys charge for just that?
  7. ic, guess its time to get those coolant refill, probably not gonna self do it, since i don even know what sort of coolant was previously use, shouldnt mix apple jucie with orange juice, else no idea what sort of hybrid coolant product will be cooling my engine:cheeky: . ty as always.
  8. Hey Ah pek, at which pointer mark of the coolant scale should u start preping to refill the coolant? Currently my's under the lower sector indicator pt, 1/3 of the reserve. bike does warm up veri quick nowaday could even feel the heat if the riding journey amount to 10min. Am i stil safe or is my bike about to explode lol.
  9. Hey Ah pek, hope u get better in spirit during ur short holiday .
  10. Ty man, this gonna save on the tow fee
  11. Hey ah pek , need to ask u ah, how do u do a push start . sometime bike left for too long , dam engine slping cant start, veri much appreciate it if u got the solution.
  12. [A] Chain related , probably too tight or on the verge of wearing out. Worst case senario, chain snap , call tow ^^
  13. If ur more incline to pick up rather then top, a scramb is probably ur choice . No more worry over humps , while ppl deaccel, u accelerate , see kerb? just go over it -.- . Its jsut that gd in pick up and it probably provide more fun over a street bike.
  14. cdc have their own elbow knee pad , just need to buy ur glove which can be brought from their counter , 1 sgd if i remember. No need long sleeve standard clothing will do.
  15. Anyone know whats the oem chain type for ver s? My chains rattling getting louder and unbearable lol.
  16. Trying hard to bluff myself now " its common , sg road is rough just get used it , don think too much " though its bumpy , but still havent piss me to the extreme extent , just annoying nia. But on the gd side , solved my fuel comsuption so ok lar.
  17. He did those stuff with me watching at a side , balancing , adjust stuff etc. Wheel bearing+ oil seal also change together wif it. Did improve the situation but still not that much . Only factors i can deduce is probably what u had suggested , fork servicing or steering head bearing, 100 buck each , but thats just my guess from what i know.
  18. Tyre brand new , arrowmax gt 501 110/70 all just fix on by mech. so air pressure wise should be standard, 230 probably
  19. Exactly what iam experiencing right now, the up down vibration like feeling coming from the front wheel. Be it low/high speed ,even at straight smooth road , it happens every few sec. sometime soft , sometime hard bumps
  20. Well , in this case they are experimenting with the customer money, its all fine if problem got pinpoint and subsequently solved even if made some mistake, but to a veteran mech eye's it will probably be better due to experience hence insignificant extra cost incur. Imagine the mech mention this and that and due to the nature u haf no idea what went wrong and went ahead change what he says but end up getting nowhere , only to find out its some bolt or nut too tighten/loose or poor worksmanship in the end. that would haf been 'carrot chopped' right? Lastly , 2a stuff aint cheap
  21. He suggest if the problem still persist , may be the steering cone , but to my knowledge the cone is irrelevance to my problem . well those are the words from e mech at a reputable shop ( Uni*** Motor**** ) . Think its best to personally visit u so u can diagnois and cure my ride , when ur free ?
  22. Dam sien , ah pek i still cant seems to get rid of that bumpy feeling .Already Change wheel,Wheel Bearing , fork oil, apply correct pressure and after testing by mech , doesnt seems to point toward dented rim . Haiz , how to corner to my delight liddat. Starting to think its a norm for old bike
  23. Point taken, currently trying to find that sweet spot for super four which doesnt let ur fuel comsup take a negative impact. (etc 21km/l --> 19km ) gonna experiment wif it till i reach a conclusion , iam betting on 6rpm but we shall see
  24. just for curiosity sake , whats the rpm point that define gentle riding to ' dragging ur bike' ? i can feel the 'roar' of acceleration whenever i go beyond 4rpm ( well the bike gets noisy and louder ) , so whats the norm for superfour ?
  25. Hi , do u guys offer wheel as individual for sale? etc, front wheel or rear wheel only. Coz my front balding soon while my rear has plenty of thread left. Looking for this brand type ,Dunlop Arrowmax GT501 110/70-17 .
