  3. i wonder...is here anyone who returned a forgotten cash-card
  4. Last month I joined a biker's party in my home town, St.Petersburg, Russia. By pure accident, I met a DJ who organizes all biker's parties in the city. I couldn't imagine how great biker's meeting might be. I don't know how they are usually in Singapore, have never joined any before, althrough went with friends on bikes to Malaysia many times and sometimes ride my on own. I just want to express my own opinion and perception. When you are among those people, you get such sensation that you come in a family.. The atmosphere amazes with the heat and friendship! Not being their part, I have not noticed on myself any haughty, bad or contemptuous sight! Admiration causes a combination of strongly developed feeling of the responsibility both for yourself, and for the one who is near you...and internal freedom …Drunk freedom, that's a right expression. Character, will, strength of mind adjoin to kindness, riskiness and, at times, absolutely children's cheerfulness. Possessing cold mind, all of them are romantics to the core… It was the Closing of Biker's Season Party 2007 (because it's already cold, they dont ride in winter). 2 music groups, many competitions, strip and fire show, vodka (200 liters) and beer (1,5 tons) (russians drink a lot! ), wine and coke, snacks free flow. More that 1000 people. It was 2 days/1 night party. Action has begun. The DJ has opened the gate in the world of drunkenness and debauch, pleasantly having surprised a present barrel of vodka! Happy laugh, champing, toasts reached from everywhere through a musical background, by the way, very decent … Competitions were great! The culmination of the program became entertainment fire-show which has bewitched bright light of poured fires of all participants and visitors of festival. Acting have shown art of possession and taming of fire and it has not left anybody indifferent. Continuation of evening became a striptease and a night dances. Everyone could get various accessories with symbolic of festival: T-shirts, beer mugs, bandannas, badges and lighters. We partied till we drop, till morning. A lot of happy moments happened after that. Riding with bikers at night in my city when everyone is sleeping, buildings, lights, rivers, canals, streets, smell of coming sunrise and colors of autumn in the night...I looked at everything like I had never seen before. Drunk freedom ... more pics are here http://picasaweb.google.com/myopenpics/BusyRiders160907

  11. it's supposed to do in gear 1, at least in school
  12. what bike do u ride?
  13. definitely dont want to go on the road side...why is it so attractive... thanks! i was practicing again today i guess its not too bad, i'm not really tightening the radius because its pretty much on full steering lock but i'm feeling more comfortable leaning to the other side and looking as far as possible.
  14. thanks, i'll try to...when weather will be better... otherwise must ride only on the roads with wide 2nd line
  15. heh... why they wouldnt make wider every single road... sigh...
  16. Eyepoint...yeah, used to be a pillion and look at other bikers Head up, look where you want to be at the end of the turn... seems easy I think I'm not looking to where I want to be. Looking where I want to go and training my eyes is my biggest downfall. okok...thanks I will have to work on it! Thanks for your help everyone! I was hoping it's a problem with bike, not me
  17. i have a licence for half a year but still cannot make u-turns :weep:
  18. Ok then. So u think it's a problem not with a bike but luck of experience and balance, right? Thanks for advises, i'll try my best!
  19. what would my instructor said if he would see that...
  20. thanks...but i'm not sure if it's enough time to shift gear doing u-turn...i quess i'll practice more today when the rain is over
  21. u spy after me! that's exactly my way to make u-turns any advise how to make u-turn in car park?
  22. Ok doing a U-turn on a CB125 was kind of easy with its big wide handle bars and upright riding position. Now I have a CBR 150, with tiny bars, crouched over riding position and hardly any steering lock. Coupled with a longer first gear I'm finding it really difficult. I feel that with the small bars I don't have the same leverage to be able to balance the bike at low speed when doing a U-Turn. I always start right at the edge of the road and pretty much have a turning radius which sees me complete the U-turn right on the edge of the other side of the road, sometimes I go onto the gravel shoulder. I try shifting my weight to the outside and it helps. What about using the rear brake? Its positioned in a difficult position on the right side when you are turning sharply right. How do people find doing U-turns on sports bikes like R1's or ZX-10s/ZX-6's with longer first gears? Do experienced riders on sports bikes find it really easy to do U-turns?
  23. It circulated emails so you may have heard it. whenever i think about it i smile. A true blond approached a service station counter and said 'i would like a 710 please' 'what's a 710?' 'i dont know but my bike's engine had one and now it doesnt' want to know what a 710 is? its the OIL cap when read upside down.
  24. yeah ...I only fractured an arm
