  2. hi.... bike is 2003 / 2004
  3. Hi Finrod, Do you have any pictures and how muich do you want to sell it for? Thanks
  4. Wtb varadero 125 main stand.......anyone?
  5. Hi, I owned a 11 years old varadero125. It is a VERY stable bike, no pickup whatsoever, but definitely good for city and town rides, forget about touring unless going at 90km/h only. Parts are a little X since they use bigger bike parts like chain use Honda super 4 series . Bike looks good ,feels good, , and very dependable since it is Honda, take care of it and will last you more than lifetime.
  6. There is only the aspect of bike handling to prevent skidding. Practical lessons only handle the finer points of bike handling. Nothing is touch on actual handling a a skidding bike. But it is a useful refresher.

  8. Btw, I don't work in BBDC neither do I get a commission for promoting the DRC courses.
  9. I guess it is subjective as to whether it is a waste of time or not....... Not all riders remember all the safety aspects which was taught during our training, and if anything else the DRC course serves as a gentle reminder to riders who may have forgotten what was taught. For me the $50+ was well spent, regardless of whether we are a "expert" rider or not.
  10. Hey Coolzone, The course fees is only $50+ so it is really affordable. Sorry, but I really don't know which centre does the course except BBDC since I literally grew up there! , and you can call BBDC to let them know you are interested and once they have enough people , they will conduct the course, they don't have a fix schedule, since a lot of corporate companies engages BBDC to conduct the course for their riders. Check them out , I think it will be worth your time and effort. Cheers!

  12. Hi, Everyone, I attended the DRC by BBDC today after finding out about the course through a posting here. Personally I was wondering what can a half day course teach anyone, left me doubting whether it was worth getting up at 6.30am and go to BT. BATOK for the course since I stay in Pasir Ris. What we think we know often end up being the wrong thing and I was glad that I attended the course, since it reminded us on the various mistakes we commit while on the road and during the practical lesson, a very good reminder how to execute the lean in, lean out and the wide lean, properly. You can imagine how many of us made mistakes, fell off the bike, crash into pylons, and we thought we knew everything when we got the license!!! I encourage everyone to attend the course with a positive mindset and come out a better motorcyclist. Today's course was conducted by Mr. Masagoes.
  13. Bro, Thanks for tip, and I have enrolled for the course. Will give a rundown when I have completed it and the course starts at 7.30 and ends at 11.30am. I understand this is the same course for SAF riders. I am already no: 8 on the list of participants. Cheers boon
  14. hi, I am looking for a top box plus matching side panniers for the bmw gsa 2014, any recommendations? and where is the best place to view your products among all the branches you have ?
  15. Good to see the group moving forward despite all the hiccups, I hope to join you guys once my piaggio mp300 i.e. is ready to go, I think should be end December as I will only get from the second shipment.....the first is sold out.
  16. Great to see you guys having a good yum yum time.........instead of spending time fixing of the bike......
  17. If you guys are going down to Mah, ask if they can have a total recall of the AD3, and fix up everything once and for all........get them to freight in the missing parts, tighten all the bolts and nuts, leaking seals and Loctite all of them....... Give them 2 weeks......no more.......and get on with riding the bike, not FIXING it......
  18. Huh, ???? the manual came AFTER you guys bought the bike? Wow, this must be the first incident like that in Singapore........
  19. I thibk our dear seller better activate a recall.......n buy Loctite
  20. We can only hope......for the best.......
  21. Btw......just to put things in perspective, in case they think I am a competitor out to malign them, I will put my money where my mouth is.......I will buy AD3......just give me a reason to......
  22. Ben, It is precisely things like these that they hope you will overlook ,but your are smarter and observant. Lets see how long they take, note the date and time........they is such a thing call "airfreight'". If they have to salvage parts from another bike to give to you, then GOOD LUCK to the other AD3 buyer of THAT bike, because then he will be buying a LEMON......hence the lemon law.........hope he checks whether the engine is AD3 or Honda wave engine. I am not on a witch hunt, but if things like these happen, do the RIGHT thing, recall all the AD3 , since they have not sold 100,000 AD3, check each and everyone THOROUGHLY ,airfreight all the missing parts, replace them , change all faulty parts, and start on a FRESH slate........ Designate a staff to take care of this problem and move on professionally, .......by word of mouth or social media things will get better. Don't give dinners, ang pows ....whatnot, it is just a whitewash going forward, it just cleans the surface but the wound is still there.......
  23. Well said Sazman, life is never perfect......but it is really up to everybody to make it better.....no more, no less. I am not against anybody or company, but this has been happening a long time, but nothing has been done.... I am not alone in this statement, but if I get more support on social media, it can only do good.....I m sure.
  24. Commit them to a date........you have every right to do it ! Don't back off, call the police if you have to......... I am not trying to be a pain in the back, but the more we tolerate it, the worst it will become, why buy something with you money made from sweat and tears and have an EXERCISE IN FRUSTRATION.......it must never happen in Singapore.
  25. Believe me, after going through this thread, no matter how much you LOVE the AD3, bring an extra pair of spectacles and magnifying glass PLEASE! I would have flipped!!!if I bought a new bike and have to "repair'" at home.......
