I planned to go off for honeymoon ride to many parts of Thai....100% solo with my wife as pillion We'r newly wed couple...typing this post on 11am 21/8/2013 , planned to go off from S'pore ard 4pm++... Bike = Honda Super Four CB400 Vtec 1 ,year 2001 Expected Average Speed on Highways= 140-170kmh Touring Experience = More then 160,000km mileage calculated for long distance,40,000km short distance/city riding of 3 motorbikes since i got liscence 5 years ago. 1st bike Wave 100 year 2006 , 2nd bike Yamaha FZ150i , 3rd bike Current CB400 V1. Currently almost every week ride S'pore-KL-S'pore as i study at KL & work in S'pore on Weekends. Places planned to visit(In ascending order)= Melaka / Penang / Satun / Krabi / Phuket / Ranong / Chumphon / Hua Hin(Prachuap Khiri Khan) / Chonburi(Pattaya) / Ayutthaya / Chiang Mai / Doi Inthanon / Mae Hong Son / Pai / Chiang Rai / Golden Triangle (enter Laos w/o bike just for d purpose of Thai visa renewal) / Sukhothai / Hatyai / KL Today stop at Melaka for a short pit stop at my mom's kampung, then go off to Penang Island, staying overnite at my friend's Condo

just 1 to know who are seasoned with touring,so ez-er to hv chat on riding matters ,especially those who ride at least 3000km per mth at m'sian h'ways....i did tour spore-KL-spore almost every week with my wife as pillion,datz d reason i ask here fr those who ride CB400 of any version do like i do..

Hi...any1 here have extra bottom engine casing dat have EO drain bolt? mine crack...temporarily i use metal glue,but it cannot last long...hv to do special welding or change new/used 1...

Hi...any1 here seasoned with touring by CB400? would like to ask, what is ur FC from JB immigration(via new h'way) to Sungai Besi toll (KL toll)... my bike V2 is stock except fr BMC air filter& rear sproc size 42....my bike condition should be owez excellent most of d time due to touring...using Amsoil 15w-50 that is not heavy fr my usage as i go &fro spore-KL almost every week...bring pillion with top box...total weight of me,pillion&cargo is abt 160kg, average speed 140-165kmh (constant speed owez...no slow-fast-slow fast mode, got slow lorry will overtake directly on d shoulder)

Hi....may i know whr got sell AMSOIL EO? usually if i wanna change dat brand EO,will owez do at KL...dunno other shops....(my riding style KL-Spore-KL almost every week, mileage at least 4500km per mth & average between 45,000km to 60,000km per year)

Only 1 place dat i owez go i need GPS...itz Putrajaya...more than 20x went putrajaya riding, but abt half of it i cannot follow my manual GPS (dat i wrote down is shortest route) ...i dun like m'sian gov arrange d road system at Putrajaya...seem nonsense &confusing....it is a city of white elephant (high to mantain,but nuting thr)

i neva use GPS fr riding....& didnt like GPS fr motorbike...i got my own "GPS" placed inside tank bag,so i can take a look whn needed... If fr cars i recommend Garmin (d best) ...even if i'm driving, GPS is unnecessary fr me as i memorized alot of expressways,highways,Federal roads, rural roads & un-paved roads ..Secara ringkasnya tak suke GPS lah.. My favorite GPS (fr unfamiliar roads) = 1st= http://www.maps.google.com.my or http://www.maps.google.co.th 2nd= write down all routes by my style 3rd= Place it in my tank bag (transparent top part) 4th= Alert on NOTICES on landmarks dat i'd written on d paper 5th= Reach d destination 6th= Next time i can reach dat place w/o GPS anymore ,cz power of manual GPS is can memorize d routes &landmarks...even bumpy part of d road or pothole also can remember..hehe Take note dat i like to always try new routes to same destination...sometimes use long route,sometimes normal,sometimes short...as so,can know d differences between dat different routes..i always do dat on any riding purpose; leisure, business or routine ..

solo riding is not a prob.....cz i can relax 2gdr w my wife,go here & there to many places....northern Thai will be in plan too (riding small bike)...

hehe dun want to take over...i just take a glance look on dis group,so i post sumting cz dis is 1st time i see official s'pore small bike group fr touring....me myself hv Super four,but most of d time more comfortable to do routine ride by my small bike ... &actually i prefer to travel only 1 bike (me & my wife only) ...i planned 2 ride by my decent FZ150i to Pnohm Penh next year & to Bangkok within dis year...if hatyai,itz not a big deal to go thr whn i'm at KL..juz 5hr ride by my decent small bike

alot of pictures inspire me 2 ride north i'm just riding Yamaha FZ150i , but ride S'pore-KL-S'pore almost every week since last September due to work...planning to ride to Bangkok &sure can go north too ...small cc bike consume less fuel,datz y i prefer 2 continue riding 150cc bike...125-140kmh constant speed on NSE & 400km++ full tank of 12.5ltr is fine&doesnt burn pocket while enjoying riding on "not so fast" speed.. I ride between 36,000km to 48,000km per year...

Hi...may i join this group?? I'm a hardcore 2B bike rider ....almost every week ride S'pore-KL-S'pore due to work purpose....rode almost every week since Sept 2012 ...Riding Yamaha FZ 150i decent bike, yet durable with my "harsh" & "torchering" way of riding...any1 here do almost d same as i do??meant,riding small bike fr more than 40,000km per year.... My 1st year ownership of my new FBE bike clocked 43,000km , 2nd year 33,000km (lesser due to be oversea fr 6 mth) , 3rd year (expectation) 46,000km (expecting because still not reached 3 years age officially..will be 3rd year's anniversary on 25 Feb 2013)

hehe yeah...stakat nk bwk max 160kmh ok lah...tk perlu laju sgt...kdg2 je layan smpi 190kmh camera AES is not a worry fr me...tahu cmne nk escape from it cz i got LIST of cameras all over M'sia..

ouh...juz asking...nk feedback korg abt s4 (tk kira tahun brpe pnye lah asalkan ada vtec) klw bwk long distance ,4000km per month spore-KL-spore per month....currently riding FZ150i fr my routine ride (spore-KL-spore) ,kdg2 je bwk mtr s4 Vtec 1 (year 2001) ...jdi nk thu feedback abt fuel consumption especially klw ride 150-170kmh on an average,using 42T rear sprocket...engine,spark plug,air filter &other "organs" dijaga dgn baek &in excellent condition.
