  1. yes, its better for the tires and fuel consumption as well.
  2. OK, here's the name list. again. hahaha just fill up la... 1) Mark:94570780(HP) dyno_88@msn.com (messenger) 2) B0B:9B5B1119(hp) 3) 4) 5) 6) 7) 8) 9) 10)
  3. oh well, so far so good... only thing to lookout for is sometime heavy rain or spray water can disable the key code. petrol lip cover was installed free to prevent water sipping into the tank. great service from piaggio.
  4. Yeah... trying out the 98 octane now, its just a few cents more. Seems alot easy on cold start in the morning and fuel consumption slightly better I think. Not sure if its due to the first service oil change or just imagination... But will keep using 98.
  5. Not sure whats the color of the coolant, but as long the temp is not overheating, its fine wih me I guess. Have another problem though. Yesterday the key code went missing... Not sure what happen, maybe due to heavy rain. Went back for the master key the next day and luckily it can start but some troublesome...
  6. Its CV carb. FC around 22.5km/L to 28.5km/L depending how you ride. Its a full face helmet size and its warm.
  7. I prefer alittle on the soft side, feel safer on the corners. Front [25psi - 172kpa - 1.72bar], rear [31psi - 214kpa - 2.14bar].
  8. Anyone know what kind of cleaner or shampoo used by the Piaggio in their workshop? The area need the carb is difficult to clean.
  9. Well, lets tabulate how many ST200 owners are der. 1. PatrickChanSG 2. w1n6 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10.
  10. How come you guys can hit 230km... Hmmm, will try to ride as slow as possible on my next pump. A ST200 gathering sounds cool!
  11. Check throught the holes at the front handlebar cover near both brakes. Always been using Mobil 95 at the moment, will try Shell petrol to see any different with same riding style.
  12. You are refering to the low fuel light? Mine random blinking around two bars on the fuel gange. It fully lights up when its on one bar. Think the fuel level sensor kind of loose in the fuel tank???
  13. Thanks for sharing. Bought mine from ASPhoon at 8300 otr with free helmet, bike cover, raincoat and box but without the race shield sticker protection (guess they have no stock or promotion over). My box is size 26 litres but I think some of you got the 35 litres box. Fuel consumption is around 185km/full tank which I felt alittle disappointed at first when looking throught the older runner discussion. Hoping the mileage will get better after the first service. Like you guys, the cold start needs to hold on the throttle to maintain idling for about 1 minute for it to stable. Seems all the ST200 has the same charater... My IU is tuck inside the front cover just above the headlights which is a great idea IMO... no more urgly huge grey box! Not sure whether this is normal for scooter... when during close throttle to slow down, most of the time the handle bar will wobble slightly on the straight. Have tried different front tyre pressure, didn't solve the slight headshake. Try not to go beyond recommended tyre pressure... had some scary wobble moments during corner.
  14. Hi all scooterist! Just got myself an 08 ST200 Runner for around town transportation. Great scoot, easy to ride and quite fast too:D It may not look as sporty as the older model with the stock high wind shield and two side front cover which looks abit bulky imo... Does ST stands for Sport Tour or something? The first 1000km service is coming soon and so fellow ST200 owner if you have any tips and/or suggestions, please don't feel shy to chip in! Thanks and have a great scoot day:) RED ST200
